Today was my first time visiting, and I must say the doctor and trainee were very pleasant. The process was quick and efficient. My only con was in the waiting room. I walked in and I stood directly behind 2 ladies. I waited for about 10-12min for the ladies at the front desk to call the next person. I noticed the lady was signaling for someone else to come not realizing I was waiting there first. So I walk up to the window (she couldn’t see me because I’m very short) I speak up and say hi I’m signing in. She looks upset and tells me to get back in line to wait because I wasn’t standing directly in the line. I honestly felt racially profiled because I didn’t understood where all the hostility came from. The two ladies prior to me were standing exactly where I was standing and she called them with no problem but once it came to me. She wouldn’t take me and demanded I go back in line all because I wasn’t standing where she wanted me to stand. Sounds quite ridiculous and I felt it was very much targeted because of my skin color. Anyways I felt very embarrassed and super confused.
DaishaJul 5, 2023Recently switched PCPs and was looking to establish care here! It’s a great clinic! The staff was all very friendly and helpful!
AshAsh014May 28, 2023I have been seeing my doctor at Erie for a while now and I can honestly say that Derek Wolken makes his patients feel like they matter. I wouldn't change that for the world.
Pablo Gonzalez jr.Feb 1, 2023Honestly, I've been going here for the last 15 years and they are the nicest people. They are very efficient. I never wait long. The doctors listen to what I'm telling them and don't dismiss me. I've tried other places in between but I always go back here.
Elia TorresMay 8, 2021Dr. Dotta was superb with knowledge, manners and concern for patients. Erie has good procedures in place before and during my visit. Keeping us safe and well🌟
lee jonesDec 1, 2020I like this place... I've been coming here since my first daughter was born and now we bring our son for his chek ups and doctor visits. I like how most of their staff is bilingual for those who speak Spanish. The doctors are great with kids and have a excellent way of treating their patients.

Questions parents ask about ERIE COMMUNITY CENTER
Is ERIE COMMUNITY CENTER a licensed child care provider in Illinois?
- Yes. ERIE COMMUNITY CENTER holds Illinois licence 264807, listed as "Pending renewal application (RN)" by the Department of Children and Family Services, licensed as a day care center in City Of Chicago County. Confirm current standing at sunshine.dcfs.illinois.gov before enrolling.
What ages does ERIE COMMUNITY CENTER accept?
- Illinois licenses ERIE COMMUNITY CENTER for children 2 to 12 years during the day, with a licensed day capacity of 223. The span is what the licence permits, not a statement of which ages have places free.
What languages are spoken at ERIE COMMUNITY CENTER?
- The licence record lists English, Spanish. That is what the provider reported to the state, not a guarantee that a speaker is on site at every hour.
Does this page show inspection results for ERIE COMMUNITY CENTER?
- No. Illinois publishes monitoring and licensing reports going back to 2010 through Sunshine at sunshine.dcfs.illinois.gov. Those reports are not included here, so nothing on this page reflects ERIE COMMUNITY CENTER's inspection history either way. Look the provider up there and read the monitoring record.
