Choosing For Your Child over four years ago was the best decision we could have made for our family. Our 4.5-year-old started here at just 14 weeks old, and our 2-year-old also started at 14 weeks. Having now been through every single classroom, we can honestly say we have absolutely loved every teacher along the way. We trust everyone at the daycare completely. Stephanie, the director, has great communication and is always wonderful to work with. Our kids have truly thrived here, learning so much more than we ever expected and genuinely look forward to seeing their teachers and friends every day. We also love that they get so much outdoor time, going outside almost every single day. Plus, when the Chicago weather acts up, the teachers always think of creative, fun activities to keep the kids entertained. The FYC community is incredibly special, and we are so grateful for the safe, loving, and enriching environment they have provided for our children. We highly recommend FYC for any family looking for trusted and fun childcare!

The teachers are incredibly caring and truly attentive to each child’s individual needs. One of the things we appreciate is how much time the children spend outdoors, exploring, playing, and getting fresh air every day. The parent community is also wonderful. Our child has made a few truly great friends here, and it’s been amazing to watch those relationships grow. We’re very grateful to have found a place that feels so warm, thoughtful, and community‑oriented.

Our son started when he was just 8 months old, and our daughter was 3, and from day one we felt confident they were in a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment. The teachers are truly incredible. They are caring, attentive, and genuinely invested in each child's growth and development. It's clear how much they love what they do, and that passion shows in the relationships they build with the children. The programming is thoughtful, enriching, and age-appropriate, with a wonderful balance of learning, creativity, and play. We've seen both of our children thrive socially, emotionally, and academically during their time here. As parents, there is nothing more reassuring than knowing your children are excited to go to school each day and are being cared for by people you trust completely. Stephanie, the director, is incredibly warm and attentive, and it’s clear the entire team truly cares about the kids. The teachers are dedicated, patient, and so thoughtful in how they support each child’s growth. The space itself is beautiful—being in a brownstone gives it such a cozy, homey feel that makes it even more special. Everything felt organized, safe, and full of heart.
