  • For the past three years, Friendship House has been such an important part of our family. We switched here from an in home daycare. After touring, I knew immediately this was the right place. My oldest child started here first and truly blossomed. Now my 16-month-old has been attending since he was just 8 weeks old. Knowing that both of my children have been loved, cared for and encouraged every day has meant more than words can express. The teachers truly go above and beyond. They create a safe, nurturing environment while helping each child learn and grow. It’s clear they genuinely care about the children, and that love shows in everything they do. Barbie and Jamee in the front office are equally as incredible. They are always welcoming, kind and willing to help with anything we need. From the moment we walk through the doors, we are greeted with smiles that make us feel at home. What truly stood out during our tour is they know every single family and child that comes through their door. After these years, Friendship House truly feels like an extension of our family. Leaving your children in someone else’s care is never easy, but they have made that trust come naturally. We are so grateful for every teacher and staff member who has loved our children as if they were their own. My children have grown so much here and enjoy coming every day (even wishing to come on weekends) Thank you for making such a positive impact on our family, we couldn’t imagine a better place for our boys.

  • It was a big decision for us to enroll our son in daycare when he was 15 months old and the directors and teachers at Friendship House welcomed us with open arms. No question was too silly or special request not met. They have been flexible and communicative and we couldn't be more grateful. My husband attended Friendship House 30 years ago and met some of his most dear friends there -- they have kept to their roots of what they are known for in the community -- family, friends and fun!

  • Both of my children attend here and I can't praise them enough. They truly care about each child; ensuring they can grow and be successful. Friendship House is an extension of our family and community. My children love going each day and are always excited to see their teachers and friends. I would give 10 stars if I could!

  • Ms. Cheryl, Mr. JT, Friendship House Staff, It is with much gratitude that I write this email on behalf of my husband and myself. Over the past 3 years that our son, Rylan, has been at Friendship House he has been blessed. He has been blessed with the high level of care, support and love that he has been shown. Because of the compassion and security he felt, he has now developed a deep curiosity to learn and expand his horizons with so many interests. As a teacher, I know the effect that one can have on growing child. I know that teachers leave a mark on a child's heart, and you always hope and pray that it is positive, as during the work week, you are with our son more than we are. And in all of Rylan's time with you all, we can say with one hundred percent certainty that Rylan's heart and attitude have been positively impacted because of the experiences at Friendship House. Not a day went by that we didn't hear the positive mention of a teacher's name. Not a day went by that we didn't hear about a friend that he enjoyed playing with. Not a day went by that he didn't talk our ears off on the way home because of his enriched day at school. We will forever be grateful to his teachers - Miss Marcye, Miss Diane, Miss Ashley, Miss Jane, Miss Stacy, Miss Melissa, Miss Amy and Mr. Dave (sorry if I forgot anyone!), for always treating him as their own....with compassion and love. You have given him a strong foundation that we know will serve him from here on in the best way possible. If we don't see you on the way out today, know that you are all in our hearts. You will hear from us down the country road.... With much love and gratitude, Craig and Koriann Lance

  • Both of my kids attended Friendship House several years ago and I have to admit that by far the level of care and education that my kids received surpassed my expectations. Both of my kids from time to time stop by the Friendship House to talk to their teachers. They have developed a relationship that will never be forgotten. Thanks for caring about our community and our futures (that would be the kids).
