If you have been looking for a preschool with the perfect blend of learning, fun, and love for your little one, you've found it at Good Shepherd! The teachers are so passionate and obviously all love their jobs- they take the time to get to know every kiddo and what they each need to feel supported and be successful. The director, Miss Patty, is EXCELLENT, and clearly sets the tone for an amazing learning environment! Communication between staff and parents is excellent, and there are lots of fun opportunities for parents to get involved. Finally, safety is a reassuringly clear priority with very organized drop-off and pick-ups, locked doors during school, and a knowledge of each family's situation. Our boys have learned and grown SO much at GSLP- our oldest starts kindergarten this year and is so well prepared. We highly recommend it to everyone!

The teachers and staff are all incredible and impressibly overqualified. To have masters level teachers nurturing/teaching and a safe preschool setting is just an invaluable opportunity for all families that attend GSLP. Miss Patty and her whole team are the hidden gems of Naperville! Both of our kids came out of their preschool programs so ready to tackle Kindergarten academically AND socially/emotionally.
Lindsay ChanMay 22, 2026I cannot stress enough how amazing Good Shepherd Lutheran Preschool is. As a family, we are wrapping up our 4th year with kids at GSLP and only have 1 year left. I truly do not know what I am going to do when I no longer have littles to send here. The staff is wonderful and their attention and care with the children is above and beyond. I have never met a group of more selfless and loving people. The majority of the staff has previously worked in our local school districts and really know what they are doing when it comes to learning. If you are looking for a school that feels like an extension of your home, somewhere that your children are cared for by the staff as if they are their own, GSLP is the place for you.

Diana MillerMay 17, 2026We love this preschool! The staff and teachers get to know each family personally, and they genuinely care about every student. The classrooms are clean, welcoming, and fully equipped. The outdoor play area is safely enclosed and was beautifully renovated last year. They also provide fun opportunities for families to get involved throughout the school year - e.g., mystery readers, Christmas/end of year programs. Most importantly, you will feel confident that your child(ren) is/are safe and well cared for while at school which is priceless. I cannot recommend this preschool highly enough.

From the moment you walk in, you feel the love and care that creates such a safe and welcoming environment. It’s clear that children are not only supported emotionally and spiritually, but also well-prepared academically. The focus on kindergarten readiness is outstanding—kids leave confident, capable, and excited for their next step. A wonderful place for little ones to learn and grow!
