We love GB! The teachers and staff are all very welcoming, supportive, pleasant, and caring. Our daughter is currently in the younger toddler classroom. She has learned so much (socialization skills like sharing & setting boundaries for example) and has so much fun! We love that the kiddos are encouraged to be creative and feel very confident that our daughter is treated with the utmost love and care every day.

It’s clear that this is not just a job for them — they genuinely care. Communication has been excellent, the environment is warm and welcoming, and we love how thoughtfully structured the days are. Our child comes home happy, confident, and excited to return, which speaks volumes. If you’re a parent looking for a nurturing, trustworthy, and high-quality day school where your child is treated like an individual, I can’t recommend Green Bean Day School enough. We are so thankful to be part of this community.
Chandni PatelFeb 19, 2026We loved green bean until they had their DCFS investigation where the teachers were investigated for being physical/negligent with kids. Watching the way their owner/management handled that was horrifying. I would never trust them to watch my child. We had incredible teachers in the newborn-15 month room (all of them have since left) but the next classroom involved all teachers associated with the DCFS case, and I lost trust with their team. Only posting because as a parent, I would want to know.

He enjoys going to school and the teachers have great communication. They are constantly doing fun music classes or cute art projects. The teachers and staff are really exceptional.

I’ve watched my child's creative confidence grow so much here, and they absolutely look forward to the art projects every day.
HaoE TianJan 17, 2026We started at GB Nursery about 9 months ago because our neighbor has sent their two kids for several years, and we absolutely love it! Our son has absolutely thrived in Ms Chloe's room, and it's so clear how much she loves him and he adores her. Every day we get pictures of him smiling and having a great time, and of doing a different exploration activity. They go on daily walks if the weather isn't extreme, and the baby/teacher ratio is incredible - it really feels like he gets so much attention and care. For our 12 month check in, Ms Chloe wrote such a detailed assessment and observation of his milestones, it was so thoughtful and lovely to read through (and the grandparents loved it!). We love the how open and large the space is, especially the common area and the outside area. It's easy to park and drive, but we also don't mind walking from Holstein Park area.
