Our experience at this school has been exceptional. Both of my daughters attend here and have truly thrived. The staff are friendly, welcoming, and incredibly supportive, and from the start we have felt like part of a close-knit community. It genuinely feels like a small family where every child is known and cared for. My daughters are happy, well supported, and their academic growth has exceeded my expectations. I am so grateful for the care, dedication, and heart the teachers and staff show every day. I highly recommend this school to any family looking for a nurturing and supportive learning environment.
Shariel EspinozaFeb 4, 2026We are extremely happy with our experience at this Montessori school and feel so grateful to have found such a wonderful place for our child. Our son has been attending since he was just 3 months old, and now at 2 years old, we can confidently say this school has exceeded all our expectations. The teachers are kind, patient, and deeply knowledgeable in the Montessori approach. They truly respect each child as an individual and create an environment that encourages independence, confidence, and natural curiosity. We have seen incredible growth in our child’s social, emotional, and developmental skills. The Montessori environment is calm, clean, and thoughtfully prepared, allowing children to explore and learn at their own pace. The daily routines provide a perfect balance of structure and freedom, which has helped our child feel secure and motivated to learn. Communication with the staff has always been excellent, and we feel complete trust and peace of mind knowing our child is in such caring and capable hands. We highly recommend this Montessori school to any family looking for a nurturing, respectful, and inspiring environment for their child.
Mariia KurachJan 29, 2026We love Guidepost OakBrook! It's very well run. The director Jordan is highly responsive and will work to find a way to best support your family. Mrs. Patty and her T.A. Ariana are wonderful! We felt our child was safe, loved, seen and well cared for. Our child was in the Spanish Immersion class and would come home singing and counting in Spanish. They also learned how to put on and take off their clothes, ask for space when they needed it, cut their food, clean their shoes and other items and so much more. They offer lots of extracurricular activities for the kids like soccer, dance, and cooking classes to help add a little variation to their schedule (highly recommend you add these on). But what stood out even more is how much they do to help you connect with other parents and create a true community. For example, they have complimentary events like Family Yoga, ice cream socials, and my favorite was a Mother's Day event for all the moms to hang out in the classroom with each other and their kids after nap time. Overall, incredibly impressed with this school and I highly recommend.
K PAug 21, 2025We love Guidepost Oakbrook and are so happy that when we moved back to Chicago we enrolled our son in school at Guidepost! Ms. Karissa and Ms. Jordan are such wonderful administrators and have created a great environment for learning & community. Our son is thriving - he loves his teachers and the staff. We are so happy with everything.
Maureen O'NeillMay 14, 2025We've been with Guidepost Oak Brook for 10 months and have been really happy with our experience. We're familiar with the Toddler and Children's House classrooms, and all the teachers and floaters we've interacted with have been lovely. Classrooms are clean and well-organized. Diversity's decent-ish. It's been awesome to see the growth of my child's confidence as well as her social-emotional development since starting here. I want to call out the leadership (Karissa and Jordan) for always being so professional, genuine, and warm in their interactions. Special shoutout to Jordan who gave us our Guidepost tour and was a big reason why we decided to enroll our child at this location. The last thing I want to highlight is the team's commitment to fostering community. This was really important to me. The team's been great with hosting community events throughout the year which has allowed us to connect with other families, or get to know staff better. We're thankful for the friendships we've made through this Guidepost location, and lucky to call it a second home for our child.
Vivian NguyenDec 13, 2024We could not be happier with our decision to send our children to Guidepost Montessori at Oak Brook. The teachers, assistants and directors truly show kindness, compassion and care and our children love spending their time there. We are so grateful for the positive impact that Guidepost has had on our children, and we see it every day when they are home with us from the growth in their confidence to the ability to be more independent - even the compassion they show each other. We would highly recommend Guidepost and are so thankful to the amazing staff for creating a wonderful foundation and stable environment of learning for our children.
