We absolutely love Guidepost Montessori! The teachers are incredible. So dedicated, welcoming, and collaborative. You can tell they genuinely care about each child’s growth and happiness. As a busy working family, we value the structure and consistency Guidepost provides. There’s a calm routine established, yet so much flexibility for each child to follow their interests. My kids are genuinely excited to go every day and come home proud to show what they’ve been learning. The enrichment programs are another huge highlight! There’s something new and exciting every day of the week! Communication from leadership is exceptional, which makes all the difference for working parents. We always feel informed, supported, and confident that our children are thriving in a safe, nurturing environment. It truly feels like a partnership. Having experienced several daycares over the years with our older kids, I can honestly say Guidepost stands apart.
Olya ValentaDec 1, 2025My child has been with the school since this location opened. I did so much research prior to deciding to join this school and based off the reviews of their other locations I expected so much more than what this school provided. From the different directors so often and communication never being relayed to the new person. To the different teachers and none of these teachers there having experience with Montessori. My child is reading at a kindergarten level when one of the reasons I picked this school and even a Montessori school was so that he could be ahead and advanced in school when the time came to go to public school. But because of all the different teachers and none of them actually following through he is behind with reading. There were only two teachers I can say made a difference that was noticeable. Ms. Heather when he was in the kindergarten program and Ms. Trang who is amazing but she is trying to make up for those before her who failed my child. She had to start him all the way from the beginning because the last teacher before Ms. Trang had him just passing through the color draws and he never actually knew the words. I feel like I pay all this money and it hasn’t really gotten me much. The school became more of a daycare than anything. There are other Montessori schools that offer free tutoring due to the amount already paid to help children who may struggle with reading or math. Also, my child loves math but we notice he doesn’t know how to use the things he learns in school outside of school without those tools because he wasn’t taught this. At home we do school ourselves and there are just a lot of things he doesn’t know how to do in the 2nd grade that he should know. The school promised so many things and that it would progress to the level it mentioned when I first signed up but never got there. The fact I have to pay extra money for a tutor to get my child where he should have been with this school is crazy. After the assessment with the tutor it’s not that he can’t read he wasn’t taught that different letters together make different sounds which should have been taught to him. Had this school had some consistency with their teachers and directors maybe it would have made it further. The students don’t even take field trips why have a school next to the children’s museum or the library to never go anywhere. They even have a school bus that isn’t used for anything but picking up one student from their other location. Also paying extra for techie kids which sounds like they do nothing but color. Just feels like the school is just making money but not using it to better educate the kids and do the things promised. I think I touched on everything hopefully. I could keep going but it would be so much more. To summarize everything if you want your child to actually learn and not just be watched do not pick this school. We have started another Montessori school and you can tell the big difference. I wouldn’t suggest this school to anyone at any age. I suggest the school be closed.
donnaJul 1, 2025We love the warm, nurturing environment teachers and administration provide at Guidepost. You can see how much care teachers put into meeting each child where they are and help them see what they're capable of.
Elisabeth EnglMay 25, 2024We love their new Elementary School! Our daughter is flourishing and actually loves math! Ms. Belinda is so incredibly patient and dedicated to the needs of each of her students. We get weekly update emails from Ms. Belinda, photos and occasionally videos of our daughter doing her work, a folder of her work for her to show off to us every Friday, and absolutely no homework. The school also has early drop off and late pickup which is perfect with our work schedules. I wish I could have gone to this school as a kid and I am so grateful that it is here for my daughter.
Nora WickmanNov 22, 2023Highly recommend Guidepost! My daughter is incredibly happy attending school. She learns something new every day. The entire staff is kind to my family. They respond to messages in a timely fashion. They care for her as we would. We enjoy the photos and videos posted on the mobile app. We especially enjoy the crafts sent home in her bag. A great school!
Brad TaylorDec 7, 2022Wonderful staff! My son is happy to go to school each day and the teachers work with him and me individually to make sure he thrives.
