  • My son has been enrolled in House of Children for just over a year now and he absolutely loves it. The staff is very friendly and they have great communication with the parents about everything. I highly recommend HOC to anyone looking for a great day care in the McHenry County Area.

  • Great place to bring your children! The staff/employees are excellent people. My daughter is in the pre-k room there’s always projects in her cubby from the activities they do. Also this daycare in the summer takes the kids on field trips or to the movies. Which is great for my eldest son who is 6 because you know at that age they easily get bored.

  • House of Children is fantastic. My son has been attending there for 2 years. The staff is professional, friendly, and caring. They definitely have the best interests of the children in mind in all situations. I would recommend House of Children to anyone who is looking for child care in a positive and safe setting.

  • I would definitely recommend House of Children! My son attended HOC between the ages of 4 months old til he finished their pre-k program at age 5. The staff is wonderful and always helpful. We look forward to coming back to attend their summer camp once school is out.

  • My son is more excited to be enrolled in HOC'S summer camp program than he is to see me this summer. It was the same last year, and the year before that, and the year before that, etc.

Is HOUSE OF CHILDREN INC a licensed child care provider in Illinois?

Yes. HOUSE OF CHILDREN INC holds Illinois licence 377980, listed as "License issued (IL)" by the Department of Children and Family Services, licensed as a day care center in Mchenry County. Confirm current standing at sunshine.dcfs.illinois.gov before enrolling.

What ages does HOUSE OF CHILDREN INC accept?

What languages are spoken at HOUSE OF CHILDREN INC?

The licence record lists English. That is what the provider reported to the state, not a guarantee that a speaker is on site at every hour.

Does this page show inspection results for HOUSE OF CHILDREN INC?

No. Illinois publishes monitoring and licensing reports going back to 2010 through Sunshine at sunshine.dcfs.illinois.gov. Those reports are not included here, so nothing on this page reflects HOUSE OF CHILDREN INC's inspection history either way. Look the provider up there and read the monitoring record.
