We’ve had such a wonderful experience with Kensington, and it’s made a huge difference for our family. What stands out most is how comfortable we feel dropping our child off every morning. That sense of trust doesn’t come easily, but the teachers and staff have earned it through consistent communication, warmth, and professionalism. It’s clear they genuinely care about each child, taking the time to see and support them as individuals, not just part of a group. Their thoughtful curriculum encourages learning through structured activities while still allowing plenty of time for creativity, exploration, and fun. Our child is not only learning new skills but also developing socially and emotionally in a way that feels natural and supported. Another thing that makes this daycare special is how open and collaborative the staff is with families. They take the time to listen, adapt, and work with us based on our child’s unique needs and personality. It never feels one-size-fits-all—each child is treated as their own person, which means a lot to us as parents. Overall, we’re incredibly grateful to be part of this community. It’s reassuring to know our child is in such a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment.
Bri CreaneyApr 30, 2026The staff and teachers are very friendly and welcoming. They make both parents and kids feel right at home. They do an excellent job balancing academics, creativity, social skills, and play. Highly recommend them to any family!
CarolynApr 29, 2026We’re pleased with Kensington in Western Springs. The teachers and director (Ms Stephanie) truly feel like an extension of our family. One of the things we appreciate most is the level of care and trust we have every single day. It gives us so much peace of mind knowing our child is not only safe, but thriving in such a nurturing environment. The curriculum is also incredibly thoughtful and intentional. It strikes the perfect balance between learning and play, and we’ve seen firsthand how well it prepares children to walk confidently into kindergarten. Our child has grown so much (socially, emotionally, and academically) thanks to the foundation they’re building here. We are so grateful to be part of the Kensington community and would highly recommend it to any family looking for a preschool that truly goes above and beyond.
Erica BauerApr 20, 2026I would be extremely weary of sending your children to this school. There have been multiple occasions where my child’s teacher clearly smelled of cannabis smoke, and no one seems to bat an eye. Although not all of the teachers are like this, I’m shocked at the bare minimum standard that’s allowed for some of the staff at this school.
