  • The staff are all amazing. The teachers are amazing at communicating and keeping me as the parent on the same page. My child is able to have her academic needs met in a way I didn’t expect and I have seen my daughter grow so much in her writing but also her emotional needs and confidence have also grown amazingly in one short school year. Being able to trust the providers is number one for me and I feel as though my expectations were exceeded.

  • My second child is currently enrolled in the Blue Gills Preschool Program. After seeing the incredible experience our first child had, choosing this program again for our second was an easy decision. The growth, confidence, and skills our boys have gained here has been amazing to watch. Our oldest was completely prepared for kindergarten academically, socially, and emotionally, and we credit that strong foundation to Ms. Rhonda and Ms. Wendy. All the staff at Kid Country creates such a warm, supportive, and positive environment for both the kids and parents. We are so grateful for the love, encouragement, and education our family has received through this program and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a preschool that truly makes a difference.

  • My kids have been going to kid country for 3 years now and next year will be our fourth year (3rd child) with Miss Rhonda and Miss Wendy with the blue gills program. They are the most kind and considerate teachers I have ever met and go above and beyond always. Miss Wendy and Miss Rhonda still have a special relationship with our oldest even though he has been out of their class 2 years now. When my oldest son was having issues at Wilson creek when he first got to kindergarten, Miss Rhonda took the time to speak with his current teachers about him. They make sure the kids are SO prepared for kindergarten. They are more like family and we feel so blessed to have met them. I wish I could have them teach my kids every year! I love you both, thank you for EVERYTHING you do always. I appreciate you more than you know! Also thank you to Miss Christina (front desk) for always being so sweet and fielding my annoying phone calls LOL thank you for everything kid country family!

  • Our children have been at Kid Country for 3 years now, and we have nothing but positive and wonderful things to say about the care of the staff and the level of education they’ve received in the daycare/early preschool programs. Our children have flourished in their time at KC and they have developed such wonderful relationships with each of the staff members. We are so happy to be a part of the KC family!

  • Both of my girls have attended Kid Country for the past three years, and our experience has been absolutely wonderful. The teachers consistently go above and beyond to provide exceptional care and support, creating a warm, nurturing, and engaging environment where my children feel happy and loved every day. It’s clear they truly care about each child’s growth and well-being. We are so grateful to have found a place that feels like a second home for our family!

  • Kid Country is by far the best Childcare Provider in the entire Chicago Southland! Outstanding care, low caregiver to child ratio, meals and technology to communicate with the Parents of today, are just a few highlights of what puts Kid Country is a class all their own!

Is KID COUNTRY CHILDCARE a licensed child care provider in Illinois?

Yes. KID COUNTRY CHILDCARE holds Illinois licence 398830, listed as "Pending renewal application (RN)" by the Department of Children and Family Services, licensed as a day care center in Will County. Confirm current standing at sunshine.dcfs.illinois.gov before enrolling.

What ages does KID COUNTRY CHILDCARE accept?

Illinois licenses KID COUNTRY CHILDCARE for children 6 weeks to 12 years during the day, with a licensed day capacity of 110. The span is what the licence permits, not a statement of which ages have places free.

What languages are spoken at KID COUNTRY CHILDCARE?

The licence record lists English. That is what the provider reported to the state, not a guarantee that a speaker is on site at every hour.

Does this page show inspection results for KID COUNTRY CHILDCARE?

No. Illinois publishes monitoring and licensing reports going back to 2010 through Sunshine at sunshine.dcfs.illinois.gov. Those reports are not included here, so nothing on this page reflects KID COUNTRY CHILDCARE's inspection history either way. Look the provider up there and read the monitoring record.
