  • KA was our first daycare experience for our now 2.5 yo, who started prior to turning 2. The director Laura, is kind and empathetic. The teachers (all of them) but especially Megan, Dynasty, Leana- are so amazing with kids- to the point where my child was saying he wants to "go to school" day 3 of starting! They all truly care. We had to leave due to moving, but miss it! Overall great experience.

  • Amazing Ladybugs team! Our son was always smily when coming in and we knew he was well taken care of. The team of teachers is great, caring, attentive, and as first time parents, we thought they had great advice for us. Leaving your child with strangers is never easy but I never doubted he was in good hands! The team did not stay strangers for long! I wish we could have stayed at Kiddie Academy but we moved out of state.

  • We have had two kids at KA OakBrook between 2020 and 2025. Our daughter started there when she was 6 months old and was there until she started KG in August 2025. We've been through every classroom, known all the teachers and have known 3 directors. Laura is, by far, the most genuine, kind, organized and professional director we have seen in our 5 years with the school. We noticed less staff turnover during her years there and that allowed us the opportunity to get to know some of their wonderful teachers. They care immensely about the kids and it's a friendly environment where everyone smiles and says hi to one another and we've even seen the teachers come support kiddos at weekend birthday parties, a sign that they truly love what they do. We have never had a concern for the well being of our children. The staff is communicative, thoughtful and supportive as we navigated being first time parents. I can not recommend this school enough. We love them and we miss them all!

  • Sending our son to daycare was a very difficult decision for us, and I was incredibly hesitant at first. He is now almost 3 years old and has been attending since he was about 6 months old. Nearly 2.5 years later, I truly couldn’t be happier with the care and support we’ve received. Laura, the Director, is always prompt in her responses and quick to address any questions or concerns. The entire staff knows my son by name and greets him personally each day, which makes him feel so welcomed. We’ve loved every teacher he’s had in each classroom along the way. I’m continually impressed by how much he has learned, how social he’s become, and how much he’s grown developmentally during his time here. We actually drive quite a distance to attend. It was originally the only center with availability, but we’ve since fallen in love with our KA family and wouldn’t consider going anywhere else, even with the commute. We especially appreciate the daily updates and photos, as well as the team’s attentiveness to his individual needs — whether that’s administering medication, applying diaper cream, supporting milestones like walking or potty training, or simply offering extra snuggles on an emotional day. Their responsiveness and willingness to adjust based on feedback truly set them apart.

  • I’m very surprised at all the positive reviews. When my son attended, I will honestly say it started out pretty positive. Being a first time mom, sending my world to a place with strangers was very hard. Nonetheless, the turtles room/staff were very comforting and patient. As soon as they wanted to boot my son to the next room up it was a CONSISTENT problem. Multiple bites being inflicted on my son, to the point where he was bruised and skin had broken (with layers of clothes on), terrible diaper rash almost every single day and my son absolutely hated going at this point. Attempts to rectify the awful supervision and “care” my son was receiving included moving him out of the classroom (although he was the one being bit) not the biter and a tuition credit. The last day of attendance for my child was when we had to rush him to the ER after he was with staff ALL DAY. We picked him up to find all of his joints were swollen (elbows, knees, ankles) and a whole body rash. I didn’t receive one call. Apparently no one noticed this drastic condition he was in, which just confirmed how poorly supervised and treated my child was exposed to daily. And I feel extremely guilty leaving him in the care of this establishment. I’m not sure if management has changed or maybe the care per child is different upon race, but no parent should have to convince a “child care” establishment that they need to be better towards their kid.

  • Kiddie Academy (Oakbrook Terrace location) has been wonderful! The communication is excellent - they keep us informed day-to-day and always are proactive when anything needs addressing. The teachers are great and have built strong, positive relationships with my kids, and there’s minimal staff turnover. The daycare is also reliable, and most importantly, our children are thriving and learning every day. I truly drop them off knowing they'll be well cared for.
