  • Normally I wouldn't delete a review I make, but maybe I should have worded mine just a little bit differently. Marie, Like I had previously said, not everyone will have the same opinions or same experiences. I said that it was MY experiences and what I, myself had witnessed. My comment was not obsessive, inappropriate, or immature. The aggressiveness and threatening comments that your husband had made were very out of line and inappropriate in so many ways. Not once did I speak negatively about anyone's children. I made one comment, which again was not in any way shape or form negative towards your children nor was it aimed at your children. The comments I made were not in any way shape or form defamatory, but what you have said towards me is 100% defamatory. Last thing I will reply with, in NO WAY SHAPE OR FORM was what I said racist or discriminatory. For you to automatically jump to it, is an ABSURD thing to say. Seems to me that's defamatory. Back to my review from my previous review. I have FOUR children of my own. I have been coming to this center since my oldest was in the toddler room at their sister school in Plainfield. We transferred over to Romeoville because it was a shorter distance for us. Like I stated in my last review, I am a private paying mother of FOUR as anyone knows daycare is very VERY expensive especially for more than one child. I would not send my children here if I didn't trust the staff and management with my children's lives. I would NEVER send my children somewhere that I didn't feel they were safe and well-taken care of. The teachers are all amazing and willing to work with each your children and you when you need something. The management staff is just as amazing and are so helpful. Have my children gotten hurt? Sure. They're children being placed with other children. Things happen and the management team are so quick to help and willing to work with you in finding any information that you might want or need. I would recommend this center to anyone who might be looking for childcare!!!! They are amazing and I could not recommend enough!!!!

  • I would not recommend Kiddie Academy in Romeoville. My experience with this daycare has been very disappointing. The staff seem inexperienced and not properly trained to handle children in a safe and professional manner. There is a clear lack of organization, and communication with parents is poor. I never felt comfortable or confident leaving my child in their care. There were multiple instances where it felt like the children were not being properly supervised, which is extremely concerning for any parent. A daycare should provide peace of mind, and unfortunately, this place does the exact opposite. Overall, I would strongly suggest looking elsewhere if you want a safe, reliable, and trustworthy environment for your child. I even got feedback from a fellow parent about their child getting picked up with a bump on his head with no explanation given. Their daughter was also being bullied from the feedback the daughter was giving her parents and when communicated with the staff, nothing was done about it with them communicating that with other parents or just not allowing this type of behavior while under their care. Please, leave your children somewhere else. Don’t do your children a disservice by leaving them at this daycare. I would highly recommend you look elsewhere!

  • If you love to be stressed immediately after leaving your child(ren) in someone’s care, than this is the place for you. If you are wanting to TRUST your child(ren) to be in an environment where they are properly looked after and in the care of competent and accountable adults - IT IS NOT. This “babysitter’s club” lacks in structure, policy, and transparency with parents/guardians regarding their child(ren) and what happens while they are in their care. They WILL look out for EACH-OTHER and dismiss your and your child(ren)’s concerns. Please, if you have another option go with it.

  • If you love your children, do NOT send them here. I rarely leave reviews, but what I’ve experienced at this daycare is deeply concerning—especially for parents of young children who can’t advocate for themselves. There have been multiple situations that made me extremely uncomfortable, including inappropriate staff interactions and handling of children that I would never consider acceptable. I’ve personally witnessed behavior that raises serious questions about supervision, training, and judgment. If your child is not yet able to clearly communicate what’s happening during the day, I strongly urge you to reconsider enrolling them here. That alone should tell you everything you need to know. The staff appears inexperienced, and at times it feels like children are being supervised by individuals who lack the maturity and training required for this type of responsibility. Also, don’t be misled by the camera access. While it may give a sense of transparency, it does not capture everything—and that false sense of security is concerning in itself. I would also take the overwhelming number of positive reviews with caution. Based on my experience, they do not reflect the reality I’ve witnessed.these are from faculty and friends of faculty not real parents You’ve been warned.

  • My daughter transferred to K.A Romeoville from the Plainfield location as soon as it opened over a year ago and we’ve have a wonderful experience. She has grown through several classrooms and has loved each teacher. She looks forward to going each day and her teachers are always excited and welcoming to her. I was initially hesitant about the early childhood curriculum having a video component but what I’ve found is that the teachers weave together the standardized research-based video curriculum with hands-on learning application in a way that engages my child and solidifies new concepts for her. She’ll be entering kindergarten this fall but already has a strong grasp of pre-literacy skills and number sense. K.A. has set her up for academic success while also focusing on the most important skill for this age group - playing and socializing!

  • My children started off at Romeoville's sister school in Plainfield then transferred to Romeoville and it has been the BEST experience! The teachers are amazing as well as the management staff are amazing! Everyone is so helpful and understanding. Everyone here is well educated and willing to work with you if there is something your child or you needs. My children are so excited to get up and go to school everyday!
