  • My son has absolutely loved this daycare! He’s been attending for years, and it has truly been a blessing for our family. From day one, the teachers have been caring, patient, and genuinely invested in the kids’ success. You can tell they don’t just see this as a job they really care about each child’s growth and development. The directors are amazing, always professional, supportive, and welcoming. The entire staff creates such a positive, uplifting environment. The vibe is warm, safe, and family-oriented. I’ve seen so much growth in My son over the years socially, emotionally, and academically. I couldn’t ask for a better place for my son. Highly recommend to any parent looking for a loving and supportive daycare!

  • My son has been attending Kidsuccess since he was a year old and he is going on four! He has built great social skills over the years and is very excelled for his age. The daycare/pre-school program is well-structured to enhance your child’s development and the teachers are very in-tuned with each child’s individual needs. Throughout the years, the staff has become more like family and even the janitors will know your child’s name! I have referred close friends and family mainly because I trust the staff who work here and it is close proximity to the police and fire department incase anything were to happen. Thank you for everything Kidsuccess.

  • UPDATE: I understand that they are under new direction and they seem to be on an upward path. The new director Carrie seems to be doing a great job of helping parents and working to bring in new teachers with knowledge and care. It seems like a lot of the old teachers with no care and concern have left. I am glad to see that they are turning a corner and have gotten some new teachers and people in there that are supportive and inclusive of seeing the program grow. I'm excited to see how Carrie continues to enhance the program and make it grow.

  • We have been using Kidsuccess as our preferred childcare center for six years and we couldn't be happier with our experience. They took fantastic care of our daughter from the time she was 3 months until she left for kindergarten, and we were sad when her time with her daycare family had come to an end. She learned so much in her time there and was more than ready for kindergarten both socially and academically. She loved all of her teachers, classmates, and most of all.. all of the crafts and activities they did. When our son was born last summer we knew exactly where we wanted to send him. The staff has always been there to support us as different things popped up and have been super flexible with our schedules. They also taught us so much when we were new parents. We have no doubt in our mind that they love our kids and give them the care and support that they need.

  • Kidsuccess daycare center is more than a babysitter or a place a take my kids to go so I can work and provide or run errands. They have been a family to myself & my two children for the past two years. When I was down and struggling they always provide the help and support i needed. Just like family when I was messing up they gave me the tools and incentives I needed to get back to where I should be and guide me and my kids in the right direction. Carrie and the entire staff go above and beyond to provide fun, safe, kind, and selflessness to care for our kids. Ms Shannon is AMAZING. Honestly love ALL the teachers and caregivers there. If I was the owner I would give them the biggest Christmas bonus or something. The center is always clean and organized. Understanding of life circumstances you go through. They give unconditional love as if the kids are their own. Believe me they do have their own kids don’t stop these superwomen and moms. I remember the first time ever I went to kidsuccess I didn’t know what to expect but they accepted me on the spot I was in bind I was pregnant with my daughter at the time and late for a doctors appointment I just moved here from chicago not too long before this. Kiddie Kottage removed my son even after making the payment without my permission. Leaving me with no child care. (don’t go there charge you an arm and a leg then some was insensitive to my situation.) Ms Amber took me that same day and I been going there ever since I never regretted this decision on switching. If I had a choice based on circumstances I would never leave and that’s why I recommend this daycare to many many people my nail salon To my neighbors friends anyone. 5 stars isn’t enough more like 110% A for effort don’t cover it. Don’t get me started on their wonderful field trips and summer camp program my son had a blast this summer with his friends at the pool and Milwaukee zoo. They always make sure your kid is changed or use the bathroom. I love their brightwheel app tells me everything I need to know about my kids and their day. Also put your kids on the school bus for another school or take them depending on the district. I could go on and on why THIS IS THE DAYCARE FOR YOU! Stop what you’re doing and go apply now walk ins welcomed but not during naptime. Tell them Lauren sent you! Shout out to Ms Venus she’s amazing with my daughter and teachers my son had in the past or now Ms Lisa Ms Sam Ms Chyna Mrs Debbie and Ms Amber J Mrs Kelly from the baby room and Lucy fairly new but she has much patience they all do. Really the whole team is awesome 👏🏻 don’t mean to leave any names out. Lesson plans are great they love kids as much as you do. They got cameras and do incident reports. They do their job to the fullest and with diligence expertise and excellence.

  • We kept having day care options fall through when we needed help right away. We contacted KidSuccess early in the week, made a visit on Friday, and or kids started on Monday It was great to be able to enroll so quickly and with a team we could trust. Especially with our son, who has autism. The teachers/supervisors were great, supportive, and the kids loved their time with the activities and environment provided.

Questions parents ask about KIDSUCCESS

Is KIDSUCCESS a licensed child care provider in Illinois?

Yes. KIDSUCCESS holds Illinois licence 334004, listed as "License issued (IL)" by the Department of Children and Family Services, licensed as a day care center in Lake County. Confirm current standing at sunshine.dcfs.illinois.gov before enrolling.

What ages does KIDSUCCESS accept?

Illinois licenses KIDSUCCESS for children 6 weeks to 12 years during the day, with a licensed day capacity of 184. The span is what the licence permits, not a statement of which ages have places free.

What languages are spoken at KIDSUCCESS?

The licence record lists English. That is what the provider reported to the state, not a guarantee that a speaker is on site at every hour.

Does this page show inspection results for KIDSUCCESS?

No. Illinois publishes monitoring and licensing reports going back to 2010 through Sunshine at sunshine.dcfs.illinois.gov. Those reports are not included here, so nothing on this page reflects KIDSUCCESS's inspection history either way. Look the provider up there and read the monitoring record.
