  • This daycare is budget-friendly, which is a plus, but in my opinion, the professionalism is lacking. My infant nephew attended this center for a very short time, and one of our biggest concerns was the complete lack of updates in Brightwheel. Since this was his first time being away from home, we expected to receive updates throughout the day regarding diaper changes, feedings, naps, and an occasional photo for reassurance. Unfortunately, none of that was provided. When my nephew’s mother asked the director why his Brightwheel profile wasn’t being updated, she was simply told that the teacher was busy. As someone who has worked in several childcare centers, primarily in infant classrooms, I know that updating Brightwheel only takes a few moments. If staff members are consistently too busy to provide basic communication, additional training or support may be needed. It raises the question of why parents are encouraged to use Brightwheel if it’s not being utilized to keep them informed. Communication is especially important for families with infants who are attending daycare for the first time. Thankfully, my nephew now attends B.O.Y.D. in Lansing, IL, and our experience there has been much better. The communication and updates have made a significant difference and have given our family much greater peace of mind.

  • My son was having a lot of accidents while attending here which doesn’t normally happen. I let the director know that he’s in pull-ups and night time and she told me I need to stop putting my 3year old in pull ups at night which I felt like was not her place to to tell me they told me I would be getting charged a potty fee because of the numerous accidents. The Director stated that they only have one teacher in the classroom so that was the reason for the fee. But like I stated my son was only have accidents there. When I brought my son for his first day I wasn’t allowed to bring him back to his classroom or pick up from the class. I could only bring him to and from the door which was uncomfortable to me. He went for 2 weeks and I never met his actual teacher or seen how he interacted with the class or got to see what was going on unless they uploaded photos in the app.

  • This is a good place to send your little ones to, very clean and organized. One of my baby favorite teacher is ms. Samantha because she took her time learning my baby personality. And all my baby other teachers are amazing as well they actually work your schedule. Since I enrolled my baby she became more social and friendly.
