My children have been going there for several years now. They have all been such wonderful people. Especially Kelsey with my daughter. And Maria with my son. They have gone above and beyond. The whole staff has and taught my kids so much. Thank you all for what you do.
James Mentola (Tolatool)Jun 7, 2026I'm not sure what's going on with the bad reviews but I have nothing negative to say about this facility. They helped me out when I needed unexpected immediate daycare for my 15 month old and they have been great and very communicative. They keep me up to date on how her day goes, send pictures and check-ins and put my mind at ease about switching from an in-home daycare to a larger facility daycare. All of my daughters' caretakers have been wonderful and she seems to love it there too. I can't thank the owner and staff enough.
April GrapperhausDec 22, 2025A big plus (for ease of mind) is how close the police station is and how there is often police nearby for general safety and traffic. Amy (who I have spoke with the most) and this group of wonderful people have SAVED our families LIFE. This establishment was a foundation for my children in an extremely difficult time. If not for their excellent care, I am not sure where we would be. I have no idea why there are such bad reviews! I always do anything possible to make sure our children feel safe. I am sure the bad reviews have their reasons… BUT that is not the case with us nor do I believe what they are saying must be true based on the excellent service we have been currently receiving. Originally my only concern was their parking lot set up, however the way their system works with how they watch the children so closely and so well walking only in groups etc. I don’t really have to worry. Overall I am 110% satisfied with this location. I am not sure what the bad reviews are exactly FOR, but they may have sounded more reasonable if they had details that backed up their statements more appropriately as such a poor reflection of this wonderful establishment including those who currently work there.
Kelly KimbrellNov 11, 2025Was amazing until new staff I’ve had to report them to dcfs and police for physical abuse on my son. I’m one of many parents with ongoing issues
Kristin BridgesApr 9, 2025My daughter was enrolled at lily too from 12 months to 3 years old. They always took good care of her until she stopped going to start pre school. I knew she was in good hands and they always communicated any issues. We were very sad to leave the ladies at Lily Pad Too.
Bridgette CarterJan 1, 2025I’m wondering why my grandson keeps coming home with bruises on him. If I see another bruise I’m going to come up there and put one on somebody.

Questions parents ask about LILYPAD TOO
Is LILYPAD TOO a licensed child care provider in Illinois?
- Yes. LILYPAD TOO holds Illinois licence 613604, listed as "License issued (IL)" by the Department of Children and Family Services, licensed as a day care center in Madison County. Confirm current standing at sunshine.dcfs.illinois.gov before enrolling.
What ages does LILYPAD TOO accept?
- Illinois licenses LILYPAD TOO for children 6 weeks to 12 years during the day, with a licensed day capacity of 121. The span is what the licence permits, not a statement of which ages have places free.
What languages are spoken at LILYPAD TOO?
- The licence record lists English. That is what the provider reported to the state, not a guarantee that a speaker is on site at every hour.
Does this page show inspection results for LILYPAD TOO?
- No. Illinois publishes monitoring and licensing reports going back to 2010 through Sunshine at sunshine.dcfs.illinois.gov. Those reports are not included here, so nothing on this page reflects LILYPAD TOO's inspection history either way. Look the provider up there and read the monitoring record.
