I love this place. Several friends recommended this daycare to me and I finally came onboard. I've never been more pleased and assured this was a good decision. The staff is warm and genuinely caring. They make my son feel like family. He's always excited when it's time to go, and full of wonderful stories and teachings when he returns. He loves that place, and so do I. Im glad for the recommendations, and commend my choice. Thank you guys. I appreciate you!
Gerry AlexanderMay 14, 2024Absolutely wonderful. My son loves Little Friends. They are caring and friendly people that you can tell truly care about and for the kids.
Porcia SledgeMay 13, 2024This place is a joke. The care takers seem to do a good job and my almost 1 year old seems to enjoy them so it’s unfortunate that the director Julie is a terrible person. They were sending our little guy home for everything so we requested a copy of the hand book to review their written procedures. Julie became unreasonable and ever since Colton has been sent home for low grade fevers (this makes sense. Have to protect the others), a diaper rash (they must not use the desitin we provide because it always stars in their care), acting fussy (he was 10months old), a rash on his back (was a bug bite confirmed by a doctor later who literally chuckled when we said we needed a note), and NOW THE FINAL STRAW. Colton hasn’t been there for 2 days because his armpit temped at 101 (he is wearing thick clothes bcuz it’s cold so he probably was hot) even tho rectal was a 99.5 and they wouldn’t let him back in. So we go to the doctor to get a note and the doctor says no temp he’s fine and has a cold. Can return to day care. JULIE SAYS NO. He can’t return WITH A DOCTORS NOTE… This place is ridiculous and I honestly feel bad bcuz the people who took care of Colton in his room seemed good but it’s ran by a literal clown.
Dustin Van TineJan 11, 2024My son attended this daycare as a baby and toddler. It is a wonderful little place with loving teachers.
Nicole BoederFeb 21, 2020My family came from another Day Care that we were unhappy with. Everything was fine at first and they really catered to what we wanted for our daughter. We were very happy with the toddler room on 9th street until recently. There have been numerous incidents of my daughter being bitten by 2 other children. The first time the center handled it very well, moving the other child into another room without hesitation. We really didn't even have to ask how it was being handled. With the 2nd child, and the most recent bites, they didn't do anything; only requesting to meet with us. The solutions they finally offered included removing my child to another building and changing her situation which was not suitable for her needs. Any other solution they offered felt like a punishment to us, or something we would have to wait on when an immediate solution was obviously necessary since this was a frequent occurance. My daughter did nothing to provoke these bites. It is a shame the biter remains and we are left struggling. Of course we pulled her as we were worried for her well being. The second to last bite broke the skin and was not treated with first aid at all. It was left uncovered for the entire day. We returned after a 4 day weekend and the same toddler had bitten her again. While we understand toddlers bite, these bites have left dark bruises each time, and have broken the skin. They have also been by the same two children on several occassions. It is without question that an immediate solution should have been offered. Especially considering these toddlers have bitten and even scratched both children and workers in the day care, and on numerous occassions! I am very saddened by this experience and am struggling with looking for another day care. I hope both the families of the biters and the center seek out professional help instead of just "googling what to do".
