  • August 31, 2023 Dear Ms. Char, Today is Tyshaun’s last day with your daycare. I appreciate everything you and your staff did for him, by showing love, giving care, and appreciating his disability. I hoped and prayed that this environment would have lasted, but it did not. I am disappointed and hurt that you would have a heart to heart conversation with me about when he should exit your daycare then the very next day say something totally different. I explained what we were doing to get him moved and the time line. You agreed to the time line and acknowledged that it was fine and you understood. I left feeling that we had atleast until the end of September to find him a new place. This time was needed because we were told of your final decision in the month of August, 2023. Due to my surprise the parents received a letter from you (the next day Friday) telling them his last day would be August 31, 2023. This was not what we agreed to on Thursday. Ms Char you reiterated that you were the owner and you answered only to God, so you could have told me on Thursday, the day before the letter, that you could not accommodate our request for extended time, and our time line would have been adjusted. As owner and director of the daycare that is your right and untruths are not necessary. But as God would have it we were successful with finding him another, seemingly better, daycare. It’s amazing how God works for us all. But I agree with you when you said you only answer to God and that you will have to do. Tyshaun and his family left your daycare feeling wronged, betrayed, and baffled by your behavior as a professional and child advocate. We did not deserve the way the situation was handled but we accept it. I pray things go well and work out for you because something is wrong in your world. Pamela Black Godmother to Tyshaun

  • My son fell and hit his eye on a trampoline at this daycare and I wasn't called or informed. Then when I requested they send my child out with their belongings, the owner Ms.Char proceeded to call me crazy and treated to call the police on me . When asked about his eye they said it was allergies and to ask my 3yr old what happened. I'm thankful he was able to let me know what happened because they wouldn't. They start off nice but I knew it was something when every child cried during drop offs. It's just not worth it. Find a more honest place.
