My children attend school in the Hyde Park area, and having reliable bus transportation has been essential for getting them to school safely. The service is both affordable and dependable, with consistent communication about any delays or issues. My children genuinely enjoy their ride to school, which gives me peace of mind knowing they’re starting their day in a safe and positive environment.
Brittany Avery-JonesMay 30, 2025Let me tell you: Little People Learning Center saved me and many Hyde Park and other families. I could NOT afford other places when I had to go back to work and my kid was a toddler. I was insanely thankful for them. They welcomed everyone and, like Old School Hyde Park, treated all children equally. While they seem unfancypants, they are outstandingly old school. You did not have academic scholars teaching your children calculus or physics, but they did help them with a foundation for being GOOD humans. They cared for my kid and the other children like a good friend or family member might. They did NOT play when it came to respect and manners. They did not overpraise children just because they did something they SHOULD do. They are really fantastic because they are the best regular. Truly, I was and still am thankful now, over 10 years later.
H SibleyNov 9, 2024Little People Learning Center has been a true blessing for us. Our son loves going to the daycare and his teachers go above and beyond to take care of him. One of the best daycares in and around Hyde Park.
Sudipta ChakrabortiJul 31, 2024My daughter started at Little People this past January (2024). She turned 2 in December, and of course, I was horrified with the idea of it all. Once I met the CEO/Owner Ms. Tiwana, My daughter teachers Ms. Tequila and Ms. Carrie, as well as the additional staff, I felt right at home. My daughter instantly fell in love with not only the staff, I could tell by her physical response, she was comfortable in the environment. Since being apart of this wonderful establishment, my daughter’s developmental abilities have improved tremendously from physically, verbally, socially and even emotionally. If you’re considering enrolling your child, please don’t second guess. It’s absolutely worth it! Thanks for everything Little People Learning Center!
Chelsie BurdineJun 13, 2024We can not say enough great things about this daycare center. The Staff is fantastic. We recently relocated back to Chicago and were very sad to leave our former school where our children had attended since they were born and did alot of searching for a school that would be a great fit for us and we are so lucky we found LPLC. Both kids (1 & 3) are always so excited to go to school and its very clear they are learning while getting a chance to play. The teachers are very attentive and caring, they notice even the smallest things (like my son being sad because I was traveling for work and giving him extra snuggles to feel better). I highly recommend this center.
DeAnna IngramOct 9, 2023I am the mother to a 8 month old and 4 year old, and Little People Learning Center is my first experience sending an infant to daycare. As we toured various places, no other center matched the level of care and family-like intimacy that we received at LPLC. Miss Tiwana the owner was empathetic and open as I called various times with questions and concerns around my youngest’s transition into daycare. Further illustrating LPLC’s commitment to families, we were able to do a short term enrollment of our eldest in the center for the two week gap before her school began. She had a blast engaging in a wide range of activities such as crafts, reading, writing and outdoor play, and it gave us peace of mind knowing that her sister would see her there and have a smoother transition as well. Our youngest quickly developed close relationships with not only her head teacher Ms. Angel, but with all of the teachers in the center, demonstrating the warmth, love, and attention that LPLC gives to each and every child. Since beginning at LPLC our 8 month old has fast-tracked in her gross and fine motor skill development, and we receive a detailed sheet outlining the activities she did to help those skills blossom! With LPLC, you are not just investing in your child, you are investing in an extended family. Miss Tiwana and her staff are committed to meeting the distinct needs of each family that walks through their doors, and that cannot be said of many centers who default to a “one-size-fits-all” approach. We love LPLC and highly recommend it to other families!
