MCG is a truly wonderful daycare, and we feel very fortunate to have found it. A loving, values-based environment: MCG’s education is rooted in love and peace, and this philosophy is genuinely reflected in daily practice. Before choosing MCG, my son attended two different daycares, where his experiences were either negative or mediocre. As a parent, I was anxious about whether he would ever feel comfortable and truly fit in. Miss Jennie and the MCG teachers and staff used thoughtful, effective approaches to help him feel welcomed and secure. Over time, my son not only grew to love MCG, but also developed confidence and meaningful friendships at school. Exceptional teachers and staff: The teachers and staff at MCG form an outstanding team. Many of the lead teachers (Miss Cyndi, Miss Jennie and Miss Terry) have worked there for over 10 years, which is especially impressive in today’s daycare industry. This speaks volumes about MCG’s leadership and how much they value and support their educators. I truly believe that happy, well-supported teachers are essential to providing high-quality care and education—and MCG clearly understands this. Consistent and effective teaching philosophy: MCG places great importance on maintaining a strong, consistent educational philosophy. They regularly offer parent education sessions and multicultural diversity seminars, and I attended almost all of them. These sessions were incredibly beneficial and gave me deep insight into how professional and dedicated the MCG teachers are. It’s clear that they take their mission seriously and continuously work to improve their practices. Overall, MCG is a nurturing, professional, and values-driven daycare. I highly recommend it to any family looking for a caring and enriching environment for their child.
Zheng FangDec 27, 2025There truly aren't words to express how grateful we are that our son spent his first school days with Miss Teresa, Miss Malita & the entire MCG Team. (He was there from 2.5 to 6 years old.) Not only was he incredibly well prepared to start school in IPSD 204 from an academic standpoint, but also socially and emotionally. I was impressed every day with his growth, happiness, and the way the MCG Team interacted with us & all of the families. They were an amazing resource and role model in raising children the Montessori way - with peace, love, kindness, and freedom within limits. The school is very well run - with top notch communication and a staff of talented, caring teachers. While in the MCG Kindergarten program, our son was asked to be a leader in the classroom and take on more responsibilities. It was so wonderful to watch him thrive and be cared for by an entire staff of smart, devoted, and empathetic women. Thank you so much, MCG, for giving our son the best start! I can't help but wonder how wonderful the world would be if every child got this kind of start. MCG is truly a special place!
Kelly LynchJan 26, 2023Our son has been at MCG for 2 months. He was with an in home daycare provider prior to MCG. The amount of growth that we have seen in 2 months is far more significant than previously. The teachers are incredible and have helped our little guy feel loved and comfortable. Ms. Teresa is amazing and you can tell that her heart is devoted to the school. If you’re ever looking for a Montessori program for your child, I highly recommend MCG. I can go to work everyday knowing that my son is in good hands!
Kim RSep 30, 2021Excellent Care! My kids love it here. They walk right in and I love that they feel super comfortable. We love the teachers and the wide variety of Montessori educational activities offered. We've been blessed with the opportunity to attend MCG.
Laura MontesJun 29, 2021Our daughter has been at Montessori Children’s Garden for 6 months and we couldn’t be happier with our decision! The teachers and staff are wonderful, not only making our daughter’s transition into school easy for her, but also easy for us as parents. We have seen so much growth with her, and I attribute that to her amazing teachers…working with her on a daily basis, but also communicating regularly with us so we can reinforce things that she’s learned while at home. We are grateful that she’s spending time with and learning from compassionate, patient, caring role models during the day. We love Montessori Children’s Garden!
Dayna NotaJun 25, 2021We have nothing but wonderful things to say about the incredible staff at MCG! Both of our boys attended (our younger son is a current student) and made tremendous growth both academically and socially. The teachers are patient, warm, and nurturing and every single one of them goes above and beyond for the students. We are eternally grateful that they've instilled such a love of learning in our boys.
