Our child absolutely loves this school! After touring many facilities, it was immediately clear that this was the place for our child, and that has continued to be the correct call now for two years and counting. She loves her teachers, has so much fun with her friends playing outside and in the gym, and has developed an incredible passion and excitement for music through the weekly lessons. It's clear to us that these teachers really know our child. We see on a daily basis the way this school has helped our child grow mentally and emotionally and we are so appreciative of the expert help that the entire community of this school provides!
Cullyn MurphyMay 27, 2026We truly cannot say enough wonderful things about MMDC, where the exceptional teachers and staff have treated our son like family since day one. As a parent, there is no better feeling than knowing your child is in a safe, fun, and loving environment while you are at work, but what really sets this center apart is the incredible variety of extras like music, gym, soccer, gymnastics, Spanish, and even piano. We absolutely love receiving the daily pictures and updates, which make it so exciting to see his progress and allow us to talk through everything he did during his day. It is clear the staff is genuinely invested in each child's development, and our son has thrived here while building wonderful bonds with his teachers and friends. If you are looking for a place where your child will be truly loved and supported while having amazing opportunities to learn and grow, look no further than MMDC!
Josh BeckendorfMay 7, 2026Our experience here was disappointing. The overall environment often felt cold rather than warm and welcoming, which is difficult as a parent when you are trusting others with your child each day. Communication with parents was also poor. Many times we were told after the fact that our child had done something wrong and were expected to address it at home, rather than being included in the situation when it happened or working together on solutions. It often felt like our child was being scolded rather than supported. One experience that really stood out was during drop-off in the twos classroom. My daughter was having a hard time separating, which is very normal at that age. Instead of helping guide her through the transition in a supportive way, the main teacher shooed both of us away and told her she needed to bring her comfort stuffy upstairs to the manager. My daughter was crying very hard, and rather than getting down on her level to calmly explain things in a way a toddler could understand or help comfort her, she was turned away while still extremely upset. Moments like that were very hard to watch as a parent. Young children need patience, empathy, and reassurance, especially during transitions like drop-off. I did bring my concerns to management on multiple occasions, but unfortunately I often felt brushed off. In several uncomfortable situations, my concerns were acknowledged but no real solutions or changes were offered besides moving her into a different classroom which then made me concerned for my 2nd born to go through the experience she did. Unfortunately, that level of care and communication was not our experience.
Angelika BolotnikovApr 1, 2026We absolutely love Montessori and Music Daycare in Mundelein! After switching from another daycare, Daniel's behavior has improved so much. He’s no longer overwhelmed, he’s genuinely happy and excited every day to go there. Daniel’s teacher, Ms Marina, is absolutely phenomenal. She’s so patient, kind, and incredibly engaging with the kids. Ms. Marina really fosters a love of learning, and we can see Daniel thriving thanks to her support and dedication. The staff is caring, the environment is nurturing, and the musical focus is such a wonderful bonus. Also, they have two gyms and they do morning exercise and burn off their energy at the end of a day. Highly recommend this daycare to any parent!
Kat GilevskaMar 19, 2026My family has been going to this daycare for over 3 years now. We have changed our schedule multiple times between full time & part time & they have always been so accommodating. My kids LOVE school, they are always so excited to go & see their teachers and friends. They literally run to school & burst through the doors every morning. Ms. Julia especially has done an amazing job getting my daughter ready for kindergarten. We also love Ms. Victoria in the toddler room, who is amazing at making kids new to daycare feel comfortable. I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a daycare center in Mundelein!
Erin AdamsApr 5, 2025Both my children love this school! The director and all the teachers from infant room to primary class are very professional and caring. They go above and beyond to make sure all children are taken good care of. The music and gym classes are my kids’ favorite. They also provide three hot meals a day here. Highly recommended!
