  • Working at Chicago Commons Nia Family Center has been such a positive experience. The center truly values both the children and the teachers, and you can feel the difference in the environment. The classrooms are supportive, team-oriented, and focused on quality care for the children. It’s refreshing to work in a place where staff are respected, ratios are taken seriously, and there is a genuine focus on creating a healthy and nurturing atmosphere for everyone. 💛

Questions parents ask about NIA FAMILY CENTER

Is NIA FAMILY CENTER a licensed child care provider in Illinois?

Yes. NIA FAMILY CENTER holds Illinois licence 235604, listed as "License issued (IL)" by the Department of Children and Family Services, licensed as a day care center in City Of Chicago County. Confirm current standing at sunshine.dcfs.illinois.gov before enrolling.

What ages does NIA FAMILY CENTER accept?

Illinois licenses NIA FAMILY CENTER for children 6 weeks to 5 years during the day, with a licensed day capacity of 162. The span is what the licence permits, not a statement of which ages have places free.

What languages are spoken at NIA FAMILY CENTER?

The licence record lists English. That is what the provider reported to the state, not a guarantee that a speaker is on site at every hour.

Does this page show inspection results for NIA FAMILY CENTER?

No. Illinois publishes monitoring and licensing reports going back to 2010 through Sunshine at sunshine.dcfs.illinois.gov. Those reports are not included here, so nothing on this page reflects NIA FAMILY CENTER's inspection history either way. Look the provider up there and read the monitoring record.
