Let’s start by saying that my son has been attending daycare since he was 3 months old. He is 3 years old now. Teachers have been great and lastly the staff ( coordinators) have worked with me from redetermination paperwork as well as accommodations for my child best interest.
G BSep 25, 2024I have nothing but awesome things to say about North Star Daycare. My son started going here when he was a few months away from turning 3yrs old. I was a little nervous because it was my first time having to place one of my children in daycare but when I walked into North Star everyone was amazing. I love that they have an open door policy and cameras in every classrooms. The teachers and staffs are all so great!!! My son now is in a CPS but still talks about NS, when we drive by he always says “Mami my old school” lol I love my teachers there Ms Antonia and Ms Brenda and I just laugh! THANK YOU North Star for an Awesome Experience!!!
Lissy AlverioApr 15, 2022My daughter Leilani has been in this day care for 6 months now and let me say I love it! I have never had an issue! They have very friendly staff. From day one I always felt like not only was my daughter welcome with open arms so was I. My daughters teacher Ms. Magali made this transition to day care such a wonderful experience for my self and my daughter. Since the very first day she reassured me that Leilani was in good hands and would be well taken care of. The amount of love and care they show my daughter makes me feel very comfortable. And just seeing how my daughter face lights up when she’s there reassures me that I made the right decision in choosing North Star.
Elizabeth OrihuelaMar 25, 2022If you want a trustworthy center for your kids. This is the daycare center for you. My son Kyrie is a handful I suspect he’s autistic and they are really helping me with this. I sat and watched him through the door a couple times when no one was looking and while he’s having his episodes they are really patient with him hugging and kissing him like I would. This is very comforting to me to know that my child is not looked at a certain way because of his behavior and still loved and very well taken care of like a mother would.
Sco WilsonFeb 25, 2022I am a Chicago Public School Teacher and I don’t even want to bring my kids to my school. Since birth my kids have been here and they LOVE IT. My oldest son Michael still gets excited to go in and see his old teachers at the center. The entire staff have always been helpful since I’ve been knowing them. They helped me get approved for Childcare Action, sat down and assisted me with all the necessary paperwork. And it’s so family oriented here the staff know ALL OF THE STUDENTS BY NAME, they all build their own personal relationships with the kids. It makes me happy to know that my kids are happy… I ABSOLUTELY LOOOOVE IT.
Mikeisha EllisFeb 25, 2022My children have been going to North Star for 8 years. These are the only people I trust whole heartedly with my children since they were 6weeks old. The staff is great, any concerns you might have, they resolve them QUICK! I love the fact that they have a open door policy & cameras so that you could watch your children if you want. I am very observant and I can honestly say the teachers really care about the students as if they are their own!
