  • Great church facility and a great church family.

  • I was so pleased at the start of the summer camp this year until my children weren't being taken care of as they should have been. Hot summer days outside require sunscreen and that was apparently forgotten about as well putting a hat on my kid when entering the nature center. The real problems started when my other child was getting bullied. When approaching the teacher about this she simply said "boys will be boys they are rough" and brushed it off as it was no big problem to her. My child was coming home daily very sad and unhappy. I was told after a weekend that my child said something very unsettling which was enough for the teacher to pass on to me but she failed to pass it on to the director. When receiving this info I had enough and decided to take my kids out of this camp. I spoke with the director about why I was not bringing my kids back and he was extremely rude, inconsiderate, unsympathetic and clearly did not care about the situation. He told me there was no way this happened and if it had the teacher would have come to him and that I needed to leave. I will NEVER recommend this place to anyone. Its sad because we had such an amazing experience at United Presbyterian for preschool.

  • My family and I attended here for 20 years + and we now attend Summit Point Church in East Peoria. All Christians need a church they can call home and we do miss our Northminster family. Summit Point is growing every year because the pastor Tim Harkness loves the Lord as well as the church members and you feel that. My prayer for 2019 is that all churches in Peoria can grow in faith as well as in their love for the Lord.
