Overall, the daycare program and classroom teachers were good. The infant teachers in particular were wonderful, and I trusted them with my four-month-old after returning to work from maternity leave. My children often came home with activities, and the teachers seemed caring and engaged. I wanted to love this daycare because the location was perfect for us and part of our daily drop off route. As a single mother working full time and attending school part time, dependable childcare is extremely important. Unfortunately, our experience with the director made it difficult for us to stay. Within the first week, my 3-year-old was blamed for an incident that was later clarified by his teacher and turned out to be inaccurate. After that, I noticed a pattern of negative interactions toward my son that felt more shaming than supportive for a child his age. If that was the tone & energy being used towards my 3 year old in front of me, it made me question how my child was being treated when I wasn’t there. My son also never adjusted to this daycare, which was very different from his previous center where he was happy and comfortable. There was also an instance where I called to let the center know I would be late, and before the call fully disconnected I overheard the director speaking negatively about me, which felt very unprofessional. After another interaction where I felt my child was being judged rather than supported, I decided it was best to withdraw both of my children. Someone above the director reached out in an effort to resolve the situation, which I appreciated, but by that point my decision had already been made. The teachers themselves were kind and the program had positive aspects, but the leadership experience made it clear this was not the right fit for our family.
MarisabelMar 4, 2026My daughter (4) and son (1) go here and it’s really a great daycare. I was really scared to leave them because of so many news of teachers and staff members not looking out for kids or miss treating them. But pathway’s to learning is amazing. And I feel so at peace knowing that the teachers and staff are always looking out for the kids.

Victoria AriasDec 20, 2024I never post reviews but after pathways looked after my child for two years, I can’t let her move on to kindergarten without letting anyone interested in this facility know how amazing and caring the staff here is. I cried the first time I left my child here and I will cry on her last day. Pathways became an extension of our family and will forever hold every single lady here close to our hearts. Thank you Diaz-Tejeda family❤️
Ana TejedaAug 14, 2024I love this school so much not only did my children attend, but my grandchildren are attending now. I’ve been dealing with this school for twenty four years.
Janica Barnes-JonesMay 10, 2023I checked out several daycare programs throughout the southwest Chicago area. Once I met with the family Support specialist Mrs. Letitia and had a tour of the facility, I knew it was the right place for my son who was 17 months when enrolled. He loves going to "school" and loves the entire faculty; even the teachers that aren't in his classroom greet him with a smile and take the time to get to know him. I myself love the entire team as well! They provide a clean and safe environment, actually have a weekly curriculum they follow, and provide nutritious meals. I also like the fact that art is included on a regular basis as it is just as important as learning in our home. She takes the time to call you if you should know something before you pick up your child and tries to have brief meeting with you to keep you up to date on your childs progress and don't mind how many times you call to check on your beloved one. Kudos to Mrs. Letitia and the entire team for providing such a great environment for children!
