  • “Educators” are messy. The director is messy. They talk about parents to other parents. My grandson attended and I always heard them yelling at the children. My wife and I were disgusted. Lack of professionalism.

  • This place will always have a special place in my heart. My daughter went there from the ages of 3-5. They taught her two languages, took her on great field trips in the summer, and had effective, caring teachers. She was well-prepared for elementary school.

  • My nieces started out at Pill Hill back in 2006 with Ms.Hannah, Ms.Colleen and Ms.Gardener as their wonderful teachers, my oldest child which is 13 y/o also started there and now my 5 y/o is currently there. Im always highly recommend this school to all my family and friends. The staff is very professional, takes very good care of the children, their education and their health. The school stays sanitized and only the students and teachers are allowed inside which I love (parents stay by the door due to Covid). The students are so advanced due to the staff being so hands on & patient with them. My favorite thing is my 5y/o takes spelling tests and math tests every Friday on the lesson that was giving previously (she subtracting numbers up to 18 now) Thank you to the entire staff at Pill Hill Development Center for being apart of our family tradition. Two thumbs up from a proud Pill Hill mom!

Questions parents ask about PILL HILL DEVELOPMENT CENTER

Is PILL HILL DEVELOPMENT CENTER a licensed child care provider in Illinois?

Yes. PILL HILL DEVELOPMENT CENTER holds Illinois licence 082912, listed as "Pending renewal application (RN)" by the Department of Children and Family Services, licensed as a day care center in City Of Chicago County. Confirm current standing at sunshine.dcfs.illinois.gov before enrolling.

What ages does PILL HILL DEVELOPMENT CENTER accept?

Illinois licenses PILL HILL DEVELOPMENT CENTER for children 2 to 12 years during the day, with a licensed day capacity of 65. The span is what the licence permits, not a statement of which ages have places free.

What languages are spoken at PILL HILL DEVELOPMENT CENTER?

The licence record lists English. That is what the provider reported to the state, not a guarantee that a speaker is on site at every hour.

Does this page show inspection results for PILL HILL DEVELOPMENT CENTER?

No. Illinois publishes monitoring and licensing reports going back to 2010 through Sunshine at sunshine.dcfs.illinois.gov. Those reports are not included here, so nothing on this page reflects PILL HILL DEVELOPMENT CENTER's inspection history either way. Look the provider up there and read the monitoring record.
