We loved Polliwogs. My son went for a bit over a year and I can't rave enough about all the staff. Everyone is lovely and it's a great facility. Stellar environment! ❤️ 10/10
Michelle SaundersJan 10, 2025My children have been here almost a year now. I keep forgetting to review them so now, I will! I was about 3 weeks away from needing to return from my maternity leave when I found Polliwogs. From the moment I came in with my then 2 year old and my 1 month old, I felt so relieved. The owner went through everything with me, never hesitated to answer my many questions after we first met. She did everything to make me feel at home. After being burned by a home daycare who just shut up shop with zero notice and scrambling to find care last minute, I was not confident in finding a reliable place. Was I wrong! Polliwogs has the most caring, astute, nurturing and loving teachers. They are clean and safe. They keep up with all proper licensing and safety codes. They work with families in the beginning that may have to utilize state subsides. I've never had one complaint. They are a daycare for the real working parent. They know what reality is versus what other places try to peddle. I'm so grateful for the team at Polliwogs and all they've done for my little babies.
L TruJul 2, 2024So. My son is 2, almost 3. He has a speech delay. He started at Polliwogs and has blossomed. I'm unsure if it's the teachers, atmosphere, curriculum.... Whatever it is, I'm staying here as long as we possibly can. Oh did I mention he LOVES attending?? The toddler who would scream and cry at the other daycares drop off.... He just walks to his room and waves bye to me. I cannot express how awesome Polliwogs is. Terri, Rachel, Meagan.... There are so so many amazing people there but I cannot name them all.. I'm just beside myself with joy that my son gets to enjoy his time this much AND become an even smarter little nugget. THANKS EVERYONE AT POLLIWOGS. ❤️
Michelle SaundersDec 8, 2023Our son attended Polliwogs from 12 weeks until 4 years of age. The owners Terri and Mo were very helpful and responsive to our scheduling and billing needs. The teachers our son had through every age level were very caring and child-focused. Our son always loved going and we were grateful for the care they provided. He was educationally and socially prepared as he transitioned into his next grade in school. We highly recommend Polliwogs Child Care!!
Matthew RingenbergJan 16, 2019Our son was in the pre-school room with Ms. Vijaya and Jodi- we loved it. He was happy to go every day and learned so much! We left this summer so he could join his sister's school and we were sad to go. It is a small and cozy space.
Cara catJun 7, 2016I'm editing my review and I hope it shows up to be more up to date. I called polliwogs for a print out or emailed copy of my bill and not only did the owner refuse, she refused to answer my questions as to why. She kept interrupting me and asking questions that didn't make sense to my asking about the bill. I have not, in recent memory, had such a weird and nonsensical business conversation. Not only that, she recommended I subpoena Polliwogs to get information regarding my own account. I have never posted a negative review in my life, except for the 2 here. Of course the caretakers of our children is an issue of top importance, however my entire experience with Polliwogs, it's owner, and employees make me so concerned with my child's safety, I'm hesitant to leave him anywhere at all. My son attended polliwogs from age 8 MO to 2 years. We had no issues until he entered the toddler room. Often, I would pick up my son and all of the children in the room were left crying in their cribs (late in the day and were not napping) while their teacher was sitting in a chair and not interacting. In the times they were out of their cribs, she would quickly grab the remaining children and run out of the room without speaking to me. We let the daycare know that we were breaking him of his pacifier, however when my husband picked up our son at a time that differed from when we usually did, he found him with his pacifier months after we broke him of the habit. Additionally, we had a relayover pick up our son once. Without knowing who this relative was or why she was there, this same teacher had her watch a child who was on the changing table with no diaper on, while she ran out of the room. The final straw came now. When I called to pick up our sons belonging's after switching to another daycare, they were given to an employee. When I said they needed to get it back, the owner said "that is your problem." Response to the owners response: I am gratedul you were able to print something out for me. I am glad that you stated before we enrolled that it is not company policy to charge parents if they are slightly late, however if it becomes a bad habit they will be asked to enroll elsewhere. I must not have been late too often, as that was never asked of me. And if I was charged, I would've been more than happy to pay. However what I find unaddressed are the serious issues I had presented above. I am not one to complain, which is why you didn't hear about it much from me. I've actually never written a Google review before. That is why I just enrolled my child elsewhere. With such top of the line video monitoring, these issues should have been viewed without my having to being them to anyone's attention.
