  • Rainforest Learning Center - south loop is a magical place. My son went there from 4 months to 2.5 years old. His nurturing and loving teachers in the infant classroom led by Mrs Maria have truly been a highlight for me from the start. She was a Godsend! Room 2 was led by Ms Diane and he learned a ton! He knew his colors, spoke some Spanish and most of his shapes under her teaching. My son always ran into school joyfully. In room 3 led by Ms Jandhi, he felt loved and nurtured. The parents are also very nice and welcoming. The Directors / Administration always listened to any concerns I may have had and implemented changes right away. From start to finish it was a phenomenal experience. So glad we chose Rainforest for his early years!!!!

  • We came to Rainforest after a year with a nanny and we couldn't be happier that we chose this daycare for our daughter! The teachers are engaging, professional, and clearly loved on our daughter and the other children so much. Even the assistants that rotated between the classrooms formed close bonds with our daughter, a testament to the care and attention they give each child. Our daughter loved talking about her teachers and friends and all the activities they did during the day. The administration knew every kid and parent by name and were always responsive to questions and concerns. They were also very accommodating of our visiting PT and OT that came weekly. The hours are unbeatable for working parents, to boot. What a truly wonderful group of folks running a really thoughtful care center.

  • Our daughter attended Rainforest Daycare Center from age 3 to 5, and we loved our experience there. The staff was always warm, welcoming, and attentive—especially with her allergies. We enjoyed the seasonal plays and shows, and she came home every day with fun crafts and projects. It was a wonderful, nurturing place for her to learn and grow.

  • Rainforest is an amazing family, community, and daycare. The teachers, the administrators, the owners (a South Loop couple), their vision, their execution, the care and community the children get, the education.... it's all there. If you want the best possible environment and care for your child look no further!

  • Love this daycare! My daughter was here from 18 months until three years old and she still talks about it! The staff and teachers are so lovely and caring, and the art projects, activities and performances are out of this world. Highly recommend, would love it if they ever expanded and came to other suburbs like Oak Park!

  • Rainforest is a dream, premium daycare. Our son has been there for nearly a year, starting at 6 months, and we've had a perfect experience. The teachers are genuinely caring, warm, and encouraging. The classrooms are safe and engaging. The management is very responsive. Our son is moving up a room and we are excited, but also a bit sad given how close and special a connection he has with one of his teachers. What sets Rainforest apart is their shows. Every season there's a show where the kids gets to perform on stage, show off their art, present their poetry, or do whatever creative/artistic endeavor Rainforest comes up with. These shows are professionally produced with a stage, costumes, high parent attendance, even complimentary snacks for the visiting families. I love the idea that our son will be regularly speaking and taking creative risks in front of a large, but warm and supportive audience. The only con is that the cost is reasonably high, on the order of a few hundred more than a nearby location when we were comparing. Management is quite thoughtful, such as never increasing cost once your kid is already in a given classroom, and honestly it makes sense given how much demand there is for the South Loop location.
