My children attended Rayito from ages 2 to 5 and 4 to 5. The younger one just graduated (June 2026). I would absolutely send them here again. The teachers are so warm and nurturing, and many of them have advanced degrees in their native countries. We did have a few favorites, but there were never any teachers we didn't like. They were both well-prepared for kindergarten (academically, socially, functionally, etc.), and the one who attended from ages 2 to 5 has learned so much Spanish! Here are some more details that prospective parents might find helpful. My kids went to two other daycares before Rayito. - Schedule flexibility: they were SO FLEXIBLE compared to other daycares. I would move my kids to 2 days/week during most of the summer, which they had no problem with. I know one mom whose daughter attended 3 days/week, and she asked to do consecutive days (like Wed/Thurs/Fri instead of Mon/Wed/Fri) for consistency, and they were fine with it. If I dropped off/picked up at a different time or if my kid was absent, I never had to tell anyone. None of that would have been ok at the daycare we were at before Rayito. - Admin: our center admin were fine. I got the sense that teachers didn't like higher admin - one even told me about a month before she left that if she ever left, it was because of admin and that she loved the kids so much. The CEO is... something. I will say that admin was very responsive and proactive during the ICE fears in 2025. They communicated well, supported teachers, and ramped up security. - Teacher turnover: I think it was average compared to other daycares. - Transitions: these weren't great. Kids were often moved to the next class without much warning, and it sometimes seemed random which kid moved when. - Behavior support: this could definitely be improved. There was one incident two years ago when a child was hurt by another child, and it was not reported until camera footage was reviewed. In general, it seemed like teachers could have used more professional development on handling behavior. - Gender nonconformity: this is something small that bothered me personally, but gifts/events/costumes were sometimes very gendered. - Food: I thought the breakfast, lunch, and snacks were a great balance of being healthy and still appealing to kids. In short: the best daycare of the three that my kids experienced. There were things I didn't like, which I think is inevitable at any daycare, but overall I am SO grateful that my kids went to Rayito and absolutely recommend it.
NESSYJun 8, 2026Our family highly recommends Rayito! We had an incredible experience with our son who started there at 3 years old. We watched his language proficiency grow substantially in the first three months. By the end of his second year he was introducing my heritage Spanish-speaking wife to new words. They’re incredibly organized both in the classroom management, but also in parent communication. We loved how they intentionally incorporated so many different Spanish cultures and also had periodic programs for parents to come and interact with their students. All in all, we had an amazing experience and it was the perfect bridge between him being at home and preparing for kindergarten.
Charles CammackJun 1, 2026I love Rayito since my baby was 8 months. Now he is 3 years old going 4! We have grown so much together. Thank you for taking care of my baby
Allison BurgosMay 9, 2026Rayito de Sol has been an incredible experience for our child and family. The staff is caring, professional, and truly dedicated to creating a loving Spanish immersion environment. We’ve seen so much growth in our child’s language development, confidence, and social skills. Highly recommend to any family looking for a nurturing bilingual program.
Sandra ReyesMay 8, 2026My daughter went to Rayito from age 16 months-3.5 years old, and it was the best decision we ever made! Every single one of her teachers throughout was a pleasure to have taking care of my daughter, especially Miss Maria and Miss Yelitza in the preschool class, where my daughter really blossomed and came out of her shyness, due to their support. We were so sad that we had to leave Rayito only due to moving. The teachers would always come to school with a joyous attitude and this would reflect on the children. They take their jobs seriously and were very involved and loving to my daughter. I would recommend Rayito de Sol to anyone.
Aiko Anne WDec 24, 2025Rayito de Sol in Naperville has been such a blessing for our family. Our daughter started here at 13 months old in the infant classroom, and she has now successfully transitioned to the toddler classroom at around 16 months. The care, patience, and intentional effort the teachers put into that transition meant so much to us. They slowed down the process, made sure she felt comfortable every step of the way, and also supported us as first time parents navigating a big change. It made the entire transition smooth, safe & reassuring. Our daughter has grown socially, emotionally, and in her language development since starting here. We’ve only spoken Spanish to our daughter since day one, and one of our biggest priorities was finding a space where Spanish would continue to be her primary language. Rayito de Sol has been incredible for that, it gives us peace knowing that even when she isn’t with us, she’s surrounded by Spanish speaking teachers who reinforce the language we’re encouraging at home. It has been such an important part of her development and our family’s values. Like any new parents, we were nervous in the beginning. But once our daughter settled in and once we saw how safe, loved, and cared for she truly was, we all began to thrive. The staff takes every precaution when challenging situations arise and follow proper safety and security measures to give parents complete peace of mind. We genuinely love and appreciate all the teachers. Their warmth, communication, and dedication show every single day. The facility is very clean, and structured in a way that makes drop-off comfortable for both parents and children. We are very grateful to have a place we fully trust. Highly, highly recommend Rayito de Sol Naperville!
