Our family LOVES Rayito. We were searching for a bilingual daycare/preschool, and we were so happy when we found Rayito. It has been the best thing for our children, now 5 & 7. We have attended 2 different Rayito locations, Naperville & Wheaton once it opened. My husband is from Mexico, and it was important to us that our kids be raised bilingual. We didnt just want a place that was speaking to them in Spanish. We wanted them to actually learn Spanish, and learn the cultures. We had/have 2 children that have grown up at Rayito, with our youngest starting in the infant room. In infants, she was painting and getting exposures that she would never have gotten in other centers. There was a very low teacher to infant ratio. Preschool and Kinder Prep are hands down amazing. The teachers love what they do, and my children have thrived because of their teaching and care. Not only does Rayito teach your children Spanish, all of their their staff are amazing, providing a safe and nurturing environment for your children to learn and grow. The Wheaton location is great. I highly recommend Rayito!!
Kristin LaneMay 8, 2026My 4 year old son has been attending Rayito for almost 2 months now and we absolutely love it! It is his first daycare experience and he is thriving. Ms. Ada is an excellent and very patient caregiver. I am very thankful we found a place for him here. We have nothing but great things to say about Rayito and look forward to enrolling our daughter soon :)
Tania BravoNov 8, 2025My son has shown so much growth and confidence since he’s been enrolled at Rayito Wheaton’s younger toddlers class for the past 6 months. My son loves his teacher Ms. Rocio, she’s so fun, patient, and loving. Ms. Suzy & Ms. Rosie are always so supportive as the admin team! I can’t say enough great things, so grateful for them! 🙏🏽💕
Melina ReynagaAug 7, 2025My three children from 3 months to 3 years old attend Rayito and they are so happy! I love the teachers and the community. I feel they are in the safest and most loving environment and they are in the best place to practice their Spanish!
Daniela Velez-ClucasAug 6, 2025Our kids have attended three different Rayito de Sol locations due to moving, and each one has been excellent. The care and attention the teachers provide is outstanding, I feel comfortable leaving my kids there everyday knowing they’re in safe hands. We love receiving updates throughout the day, including photos, videos, and notes on how our children are eating, sleeping, and engaging in activities. One of our biggest goals is raising bilingual children, and the Spanish immersion experience at Rayito has been incredible to witness. Our kids clearly understand Spanish, and it's clear this is thanks to the thoughtful, consistent exposure they receive each day. The program is well-rounded. They serve healthy meals, incorporate educational activities, arts and crafts, physical play, and more. We're so grateful for the loving, enriching environment Rayito provides. Highly recommend!
Daniel ClucasAug 5, 2025I actually disagree with the 1 star review, this is not a 1 star experience in any way. I know they have some kinks to work out as they are still in opening phase with enrollment. At Montessori school they keep 3 4 and 5s together for social reasons, but I know the enrollment has been slow from the economy etc. My son really loves his experience at Rayito. It’s clean and fun and bright and the teachers are sweet and patient. Many of them have children enrolled in other rooms so they really care for my son like he is their own. The method of learning Spanish here is immersion, and might look at first like being talked at but I can say that this is the best way to learn after having tried other methods with my other children. We were one of the first families to sign up. My son understands so much Spanish after his 6 months at Rayito. He counts in Spanish and speaks phrases with his Spanish-speaking family at home. The classmates are sweet and he is always excited to go. I agree though and wish they had a sign visible from Naperville Wheaton Rd, because so many people I meet think it’s not open yet. It’s a really great option for families with Spanish-speaking roots that want to build the language fluency and culture back up.
