  • The teachers at Schooner have been so sweet to our baby. She smiles and reaches for them when we drop her off. 🥰 We are very thankful for the attention and care that they give her every day!

  • My son attended Schooner Learning Academy from 18 months old until he was 4, and we had a wonderful experience. I loved the app that kept us updated throughout the day with pictures and notes. The kids went outside twice a day when the weather was nice and enjoyed water play in the summer, which was a big hit. I also appreciated that they taught Spanish and welcomed outside services, like speech therapy sessions, right at the school. My son really enjoyed his time there, and I would definitely recommend Schooner Learning Academy to other families.

  • We loved our experience at Schooner! We had two kids enrolled and experienced all the classes and teachers. Everyone was nurturing, kind and engaging. Communication was great, and we appreciated how invested the teachers were with our children. Schooner also has accommodating hours and limited school closure days, which is much appreciated as a working parent. We moved out of the city, otherwise, we would have kept our kiddos at Schooner as long as possible before starting Kindergarten. Highly recommend enrolling your little one at Schooner!

  • We couldn’t have asked for a better experience for our two kids who started at Schooner when they were each five months old. The space is warm, inviting, and clean. There is very low teacher turnover — the same teachers my daughter had, my son had two years later. Every single teacher and staff member is kind, engaging, and takes an active interest in our kids’ health, safety, and development. It’s walking distance to multiple parks and the 606 for outdoor time twice a day (weather-permitting) and it’s a diverse curriculum (i.e. specific weeks dedicated to learning about new countries and plenty of art projects). Parent meet-ups, Halloween parades, and family park dates also help foster a strong, close community. We still feel fortunate we got off the wait list!

  • We loved Schooner so much! They took great care of our daughter, making sure she was not only safe but also developing socially and emotionally. They also fostered a great environment for parents with monthly happy hours and a friendly environment, so we as parents also made friends here! We’d recommend Schooner to everyone!

  • I recently moved out of Chicago which, sadly, made us have to leave Schooner. The reason I picked Schooner to begin had to do with how clean it was, the attentive staff and the nutritious meals they provided., My daughter thrived at this school from the time she started at 5 months old. Developmentally, her speech, memory, play, and motor skills progressed perfectly. She absolutely loved her teachers (as did I). They are truly invested in the development and happiness of the children. Now that we are at a new school, I realized how much I miss the meals provided. They are healthy, low in sugar, and match the age of the child. If you have the chance to get your child into Schooners- DO IT.
