I have had the honor of working with this establishment and I send everyone I know with a child to inquire about services because of how much the staff loves and cares for them. This place and the owner, Ms. Sarah are amazing!
Imani McDonaldAug 30, 2025Serendipity is the luck of finding something valuable or pleasant that you weren't looking for. Serendipity is a hidden gem in the heart of the southside of Chicago! Ms. Sarah and her amazing team are truly a rare find in caring for children! They take the time to study and give them opportunities that are not offered at this age and day in time. My granddaughters have surpassed the knowledge of their age and are progressively everyday growing stronger in their desire to learn! and with excitement! This is one of the best decisions that my daughter made to enroll them in to magnificent school! I definitely share the good news about Serendipity to everyone I encounter with a child to experience the joy that I have experienced with this great school!

After delivering over 100 items (3 shopping carts full of stuff) to these people, and making 30 trips to and from my car to retrieve the groceries while a woman and man stood by without helping, they didn't give me one dime for a tip. The owner didn't give me one dime for a tip after I spent over 3 hours shopping for their daycare. If this is how they treat people, they're not good people.
B HoustonJan 3, 2020I’ve known Sarah for over 30 years. My son was one of her first students. He graduated from Whitney Young and now a junior in college. He gives a lot of credit to Sarah. She exposed him to golf, traveling and a love for rich literature. He also said she makes the best spaghetti in the world! Do yourself a favor and enroll your son or daughter today!
Juana PollardOct 6, 2019Families, be VERY CARFEUL!!!! sending your child(ren) to this school. This incident has made a huge impact in my life and my child. My child is 3 years old, and was only in the school a month and a few days before all this happened. A staff member made some false allegations on me which lead to a hotline call. My child was already gone for the day when the call was made. Next day, reported as unfounded. That following Monday when it came time to get the belongings, the director refused to give me the items and the paperwork I requested. As a parent, you are entitled to the daycare contract that you signed, permanent removal and pick up at anytime without being questioned, as well as any documentation regarding your child(ren) that you provided. This places has no right to take pictures of any child without the parents consent. They are in validation of my parental rights. Overall, a lot of false promises were made to me about the curriculum. No video access. Never received emails. Late/Never notified me about certain events. Just a bunch of lies and false hope in this fake partnership. I encourage all families to do in depth research on any daycare/schools before signing. Retrieve all copies the day of. Make sure you have full access to your child on video and in-person. Keep your eyes and ears open. They think they're smarter than the parents, but they're not.

I’ve also had the opportunity to join Sarah on a few Disney field trips. Sarah is an amazing educator! Do yourself a favor and enroll your son or daughter in Serendipity!
