What Illinois licensed
Illinois licenses day care and overnight care separately, so SPARK ACADEMY is listed against each one it holds. Every figure is a ceiling the state set, not a count of places free.
- Day care, ages
- 3 to 13 years
- Day care, licensed for
- 48 children
- Night care, ages
- 3 to 13 years
- Night care, licensed for
- 48 children
- Languages reported

An overnight capacity means Illinois approved this provider for night care. It does not say which nights are actually offered, so confirm the hours directly.

We've been attending the Spark Academy Homeschool Discovery Station for the past two years, and we absolutely love it! The classes are small, engaging, and educational, and the teachers are so warm and caring. My kids look forward to going every week, and it truly feels like a second home for them. We're so grateful to be part of this wonderful community!

Questions parents ask about SPARK ACADEMY
Is SPARK ACADEMY a licensed child care provider in Illinois?
- Yes. SPARK ACADEMY holds Illinois licence 620000, listed as "License issued (IL)" by the Department of Children and Family Services, licensed as a day care center in Tazewell County. Confirm current standing at sunshine.dcfs.illinois.gov before enrolling.
What ages does SPARK ACADEMY accept?
- Illinois licenses SPARK ACADEMY for children 3 to 13 years during the day, with a licensed day capacity of 48. The span is what the licence permits, not a statement of which ages have places free.
Does SPARK ACADEMY offer overnight child care?
- Yes. Illinois licenses SPARK ACADEMY for 48 overnight children, ages 3 to 13 years. Illinois licenses day and night care separately, so an overnight capacity means the state approved the provider for it. Confirm the hours actually offered with the provider.
What languages are spoken at SPARK ACADEMY?
- The licence record lists English. That is what the provider reported to the state, not a guarantee that a speaker is on site at every hour.
Does this page show inspection results for SPARK ACADEMY?
- No. Illinois publishes monitoring and licensing reports going back to 2010 through Sunshine at sunshine.dcfs.illinois.gov. Those reports are not included here, so nothing on this page reflects SPARK ACADEMY's inspection history either way. Look the provider up there and read the monitoring record.
