  • The Lincoln Square location has a warm, welcoming neighborhood feel. The staff is wonderful, they are attentive, genuinely caring, and great at communicating. We also love their play-based learning approach; our child is always engaged, having fun, and thriving socially and developmentally. We highly recommend them to any family.

  • We love Stepping Stones! Our little one immediately felt right at home and has been thriving since she started. The teachers and administration are super caring and responsive. I love the focus on outdoor play and gross motor development. This is a special place with a beautiful facility and environment for little ones to flourish.

  • The teachers and staff have been so warm, welcoming and caring to our 21 month old son. From his first day to now a few months in you can tell how much they care for and adore the kids. I love all of the activities (music class, reading time, sensory activities, etc) and outside time that happen on a daily basis to give our son a well rounded experience and can tell he is learning so many new things. The other children and parents are awesome as well and we would recommend to any friends and family if they were nearby.

  • Our son LOVES going to Stepping Stones! It has been such a gift to send him there. It is clear that he is loved, safe, and encouraged to develop his socially, emotionally, cognitively, and compassionately. His teachers are incredibly kind, capable, and attentive to him and clearly communicate with us. I love how much time he gets to play outdoors everyday and connect with nature. Very grateful to have such a great daycare option in the neighborhood.

  • We love Stepping Stones! We've been here for about 2.5 years now, starting when our oldest was 15 months. We loved our past daycare in our old neighborhood and I was so nervous about making the move to a new one, but SSNS made the transition as easy as possible. The teachers are wonderful and I love how the culture there emphasizes the importance of everyone finding and being themself. So glad to be part of the Stepping Stones family!

  • We LOVE Stepping Stones! This school was recommended to us by a neighbor (who happens to be a nursery school teacher herself). Her exact words were: "if I had my kids in a different school, it would be Stepping Stones." This school is a community, filled with caring teachers, staff, and parents. Our toddler has been happy here for a year and our newest family member joined two months ago and loves the baby room too! What we appreciate most about this school is the play-based learning philosophy which, amazingly, includes an outdoor element. The fresh air has kept our child healthy and happy, has increased her strength and agility, and makes her days interesting, different, and fun. The school is also very communicative, which we are grateful for. We feel very connected to our children's care and caretakers and are thankful that we found this wonderful school. Highly recommend!
