My daughter has loved going there and she learned so much in Pre-k that she’s more than ready for kindergarten! My son also loves going in the summer and has made great friends.
Skye MarshallMay 24, 2023We are so thankful for The Salvation Army Childcare. They are dedicated to family support as well as a great education from infant to preparing our children for school! Highly recommend!
Dana BigelowOct 14, 2021I have two children attending the daycare. They use a gentle discipline model and always have the kids busy with age appropriate activities and art. The playground is beautiful and safe. The new director Tenisha is responsive and doing a great job in the face of a pandemic and shortage of early childhood workers. Highly recommend!
Leah SwansonOct 13, 2021My son attended school there for a couple of months and had an awesome experience!

- Yes. THE SALVATION ARMY CHILD CARE CENTER holds Illinois licence 020434, listed as "License issued (IL)" by the Department of Children and Family Services, licensed as a day care center in Peoria County. Confirm current standing at sunshine.dcfs.illinois.gov before enrolling.
What ages does THE SALVATION ARMY CHILD CARE CENTER accept?

- The licence record lists English. That is what the provider reported to the state, not a guarantee that a speaker is on site at every hour.
Does this page show inspection results for THE SALVATION ARMY CHILD CARE CENTER?
