Best place in town for your little one! From the top notch staff, curriculum, and warm environment, the Wonder Playschool doesn't disappoint in any areas. This is the second daycare we've had our son in and now we can't imagine him ever going anywhere else. The newly upgraded playground is another highlight! If you're new to town like we were a few years ago, this is the place to take your child where you can be worry free as a parent and feel good picking them up at the end of the day knowing they were in good hands and getting a solid mix of education and play time
JMNMar 31, 2025My daughter has been going to Wonder Playschool for over a year and we have had such a great experience! She started out in the infant class with Miss Kara and Miss Chrissy and now she is in the investigators class with Miss Donna and Miss Kristy! Everyone is so kind and I know my baby is in great hands! The teachers are great about keeping me updated throughout the day with lots of pictures and notes about what she is doing throughout the day. Ever since she joined the investigators class, especially she has learned so many new words And knows almost all of her phonics is only 19 months old! She has so much fun playing with her friends at school and the teachers that when we come to pick her up each day, she laughs and runs away because she wants to stay! We have had nothing but great experience and love watching our little one grow with her wonder playschool family! Also both of the new play grounds the facility has are so much fun!
Bargavi ErraboluSep 26, 2024We were really excited to send our almost 2 year old daughter here a couple days a week half days just for socialization purposes. She loves kids and learning! This place markets themself as being more of a school atmosphere with individualized attention and small class sizes as opposed to a traditional daycare, so that was appealing as well. I worked all Spring and Summer on paperwork and logistics with two of the coordinators who were very helpful and kind so that also was encouraging. About a month before officially starting the program we went in for a visit so that we could have an in person tour and meet her teachers and see the classroom she’d be in. Again upon entering was greeted by two very friendly employees who’d I’d been corresponding with. The facility is nice and clean but honestly nothing overly special, the website images in my opinion make it look much nicer than what I saw in person but again it is still a nice and clean atmosphere! We get to her classroom for the visit and I notice one of the teachers spoke harshly to one of the children , not just stern but nasty and harsh (these are 1,2,3 year olds) I kind of just brushed it off and thought maybe an off day for her and a one time thing and I was happy with the other teacher she’d be having and overall pleased with our visit. About a month after the visit she was slated to start, and I will just say I went in to drop her off and we did not stay, she came right out with me. I was appalled at this one teacher’a behavior I had noticed before at our visit and was not comfortable leaving my child in her care. For reference this was one of the instructoes in the Investigators level classroom. Please see attached correspondence between myself and the coordinators for full details. I would definitely think twice before sending your child here especially if they are to be in the Investigators room with this particular instructor. I was very disappointed, shook , and upset when leaving. I was sad for my daughter because we had talked about starting “school” and she was excited, and I was very shook up at the behavior I had witnessed and I also was pretty shocked they pride themselves on being one of if not the most expensive and high end childcare facilities in Peoria , yet are allowing a teacher to treat children how I witnessed. Again please see screenshots for full details, I blacked out names for privacy purposes. I’m sure there are some wonderful teachers at this facility but this is just my experience with one and I would never leave my baby in her hands.
Hillary SadauskasAug 27, 2024My son has attended the Wonder Playschool every weekday for over a year now and we’ve had nothing but a positive experience the entire time. I’ve had great interactions with every teacher and staff there. We started in the nursery with Miss Kara and Miss Crissy, who are both soft spoken, gentle, and super sweet. Our son thrived in the nursery and they stuck to his home schedule very well. We’ve now been in the toddler room for 6+ months and I’ve noticed such a growth and improvement in his learning. He’s excited to go to school and loves seeing his teachers Miss Kristy and Miss Doina. They greet him on arrival and always have fun activities planned for the day. I see a lot of photos of the learning and playing the kids do that they upload to an app every day. They are also diligent about updating the meals, naps, and diaper changes. Miss Nicole - teacher of the oldest room - is also usually around at pickup and she is very fun and kind! I look forward to our son transitioning to her room in the near future. The directors of the facility, Kelsey and Makenzie are wonderful as well. So helpful and professional, you can tell they truly care about our kids! We’ve loved our experience here so much that we plan to enroll our newborn in the winter. Looking forward to bringing another baby there!
Anna StinauerApr 3, 2024Honestly. It seemed really great. I have been trying to get pricing information for 2 weeks now. I was initially told to wait because of internal issues (no biggie!) But then an extra week passed. I asked if I should assume they are too busy to get me the info, no response. So that's disappointing considering they claim to be at a higher standard. There seems to be a clear communication barrier
Michelle SaundersSep 6, 2023One of the best decisions we made was enrolling our daughter into wonder. You get what you pay for and the growth we’ve seen has been amazing
