  • I have never seen anyone there, or more than one vehicle parked there. What gives?

  • This director/owner Christopher more than likely has her friends give her five star reviews whom probably don’t even have their kids enrolled in this daycare. Absolutely worst experience dealing with a very unprofessional director/owner of a daycare in my life. PLEASE THINK TWICE BEFORE ENROLLING YOUR CHILD IN THIS PLACE.

  • I recently moved to the Oak forest neighborhood and I urgently needed a daycare for my 4 year old daughter. Me and my fiancé decided to go with ZDP children learning center because our 1st option did not have any slots open, our 2nd option was too expensive. The ZDP director is very hard to get in contact with and the communication is subpar from a professional standpoint, and I initially did not want to send my daughter here because of the lack of communication which was a red flag but we decided to give ZDP a shot once we finally spoke with the director. Now initially my daughter was doing just fine, she would have her moments where she would misbehave but the director assured me that they can handle her behavior and that it was ordinary, the director even bragged to me about her ability to work with all different types of kids. I want to say in about 4 to 6 weeks the director reach out to me and explained that my daughter behavior is up and down, and she believed that she needed to be evaluated by a psychiatrist. I asked the director if she could document when she was misbehaving in writing so that I can have a paper trail and also so that I can sit down and have a conversation with my daughter about her behavior as I read the report out loud to help get the misbehaving under control. The director failed to document much of anything and I would only know when she misbehaved a week after it happened or once it reached a point where the behavior is “Hitting the fan” and only then would the director give me a report but by that time it’s difficult to rectify the problem as the parent. My daughter attended the day care for about 7 week's on a Monday before she was kicked out the daycare without a warning or a proper notice, I was dropping her off Monday morning and I was left in the lobby for about 15 mins until the director came and met me at the door, would not open the door but talked to me through the door as if posed a threat, and explained that she emailed me Sunday night to tell me that my daughter is no longer allowed at ZDP learning center. I had no idea that my daughter was on the verge of being removed from the daycare, I spoke with the director 3 days before she was removed and the director told that my daughter was improving and hasn’t been misbehaving. Now i don’t know if there’s a gap between the communication with the staff and the director but it’s as if she doesn’t really know what’s going on day to day, she’s just reactive instead of proactive. So I was stuck to figure out what I was going to do with my daughter while at work. Later the same day that my daughter was removed I called the daycare and the director multiple times to figure out was I being refunded for the month since I pay for the daycare in advance and I recently was just charged a fee for the month that shes not going to attend, I could not get in contact with anyone after calling, txting and email, so I went back up to the daycare to talk to the director. I set in the lobby patiently waiting after I was told that director would be right out, to my surprise the oak forest police met me in the lobby and told me “we have no idea why we’re here”. The director actually called the police to be a “peace maker”. I never had a bad or remotely negative encounter with the director or anyone from ZDP so I was highly disappointed and confused. This by far was my worse experience with a establishment I have ever had. I believe that I was racially profiled by the director. I wouldn’t recommend ZDP to anyone. My daughter would come home every day with filthy clothes as if she been rolling around in dirt and when I ask the director why her brand new clothes was coming back home to me visibly filthy, the directors explanation to me was that “we get down in dirty at ZDP” and that I should send her to school with darker clothing or clothes I don’t care about. My daughter is not a bad child by any means, she’s just a normal 4 year old and I have not had any issues from her new daycare, she’s thriving here. Think twice before you send your kids to ZDP.

  • The Director was nice, I just didn't like they changed the caregivers/ teachers very often. Didn't give babies time to adjust to a familiar face I felt I was always dropping my baby to a different person and she would always be crying because she didn't recognize her.

  • Zpd is an amazing center! Very clean with a great staff that is very welcoming and loving. The staff are not just watching your children, but they are teaching and interacting with them, getting them prepared for the next stages of life. If you want your child or children to learn, this is the place !10/10 highly recommended

  • When I spoke to the director I was told that this was one of the best schools which to come to find out was not staff very unprofessional and young they don't speak to you when you drop your kids off how can you take care of my kids and you don't even speak to me we pick our son up hes wet and crying . My wife spoke With the director husband he said he was offended because my wife told him how the staff was taking care of my son . That Monday I went up to the school to pick the paperwork up they Didn't come to the door open the door it thought they was gonna leave me outside an the rain with my son but thank God we had already moved into a different school.
