  • Based on my personal experience, this daycare was not a good fit for my family. I found the owner to be unapproachable, and the office administrator’s demeanor felt unprofessional and rude on multiple occasions, which made the environment feel unwelcoming overall. There were several instances when I picked my child up with a heavily soiled diaper. On other occasions, my child had scratches that staff could not clearly explain. These situations were very concerning to me as a parent. When concerns came up, the owner initially offered to allow me to review camera footage, but after I requested to do so, I felt disregarded and received no follow-up. Communication became inconsistent and unhelpful. After these events, a report was made to the Department of Child Services, which resulted in a home visit. The DCS worker assessed my children and the situation, apologized for the distress the process caused, and advised me that, based on their assessment, it would be best not to return my children to that daycare. I was told the visit was required due to standard protocol. Since leaving, my children are now enrolled at a different daycare where they are happy, well cared for, and treated with warmth and respect. The difference has been significant and reassuring. I am sharing this solely to reflect my experience and to help other families make informed decisions

  • The daycare literally adds people to the waitlist, take their money, and never call with any type of update. If someone is actively looking for childcare and are on a waitlist a call on whether the spot was filled or not would be helpful. At this point they’re collecting a non refundable fee and using it for their benefit. Honestly, I have never had to pay a fee to be on a waitlist. Judging from the other reviews I’m actually happy my child isn’t in their care. Do better!

  • I went back and forth between posting this. Amiyah tried to go go to daycare yesterday. We sent her for 2 hours, I left to get paperwork needed for her & called after about an hour to check on her. They said she was teary and ms Amanda would work her through it. My heart couldn’t take that so I left and went to pick her up. I dropped off paper work and asked to go into the room to get her. I pick her up and talk to the teacher and she said Amiyah was crying and not wanting anyone to play or touch her. They said she didn’t play with toys outside and just walked around with the teacher. I found a huge mark on her arm and asked what happen, they said the cameras were down and ms Amanda said she didn’t notice it until I had said something. They said the only thing she could think of is that she was throwing her self down outside and on the rubber turf they have in the play area for the 1 year old room. No one knows what happen to my babies arm. This isn’t just falling down. There is not a single mark anyplace on her except on her arm. They said since the cameras weren’t working no one could see what happen and that the teacher wouldn’t do anything to harm her. In my eyes they failed to protect my daughter, something happen and saying she fell isn’t enough for me. As of now she is fine and her arm is just bruised. My heart can’t take they let something happen. So needless to say we are NOT using daycare again. We went to ABC academy in Hobart by st marys.

  • I absolutely love having my daughter here. She has made so many friends and I love how they have in facility activities like soccer and karate I can enroll her in. Gives her something to look forward to. We had a few rough times in the passed year in our personal lives and the teachers handled her emotions and lashing out amazing. Kids don't know how to channel their emotion but all the teachers there put me at ease when situations happen. I highly recommend ABC to anyone looking for childcare.

  • My daughter has been to 4 different places before entering big girl school. At every one there were incidents between her and other kids. Its part of life, it happens. Most of the staff at ABC was very accommodating. I really was put at ease by Dave (the owner) over some concerns we had before putting our daughter in the daycare. All in all it was a pretty positive experience for us.
