Cedar Lake Early Learning Academy

We absolutely enjoyed every minute while attending this child care center they were so sweet so nice my daughter loved all her teachers and staff and still talks about them to this day she is now in 1st grade!! Shout out to the staff at Cedar Lake Early Learning Academy you guys are Angels keep on keeping on!! You’re all doing fantastic!! 💕🙏🏼😇

I've had a great experience with Cedar Lake Early Learning Academy. The staff is excellent. My daughter is in the 3's and loves it. Her teachers are the best. They genuinely care about the kids and are excited about their achievements and milestones. I'm impressed with the director, Savannah. She's organized, great at communication, accommodating, and very welcoming. Also, Todd, who is in charge of the food, has been amazing. We have a special diet, and he goes above and beyond to ensure my daughter is cared for. I'm sad to see the other negative reviews because my experience with the institution has been positive, and I'm grateful to have a safe and fun space for my daughter to go.

My 2 year old goes here. I cant speak highly enough of the love she gets from her teachers and staff. She loves going here everyday. She eats well and we get great updates day to day on what she does. The waitlist was rough though, we did wait about a year to get her just two days a week but it did get our foot in the door and get her full time a few months later. However, this waitlist was the same story I heard everywhere else in the area and they got me in first.

Their waitlist management is really poor. Wouldn’t recommend trying to get in here as it’s a multi year waitlist and when you call to get updates you don’t get a consistent or honest response.

Can’t speak to the care but I will tell you don’t bother trying to go here. I’ve been on the “waitlist” to get in for 2 years and every time I call to check on my status of my wait I got a different story. I originally put my child of the waitlist in March of 2021. I was told they would likely would be able to get me in by the fall 2021. I called to confirm and got the same response in late summer 2021. I’ve been told about every other month for a year of me calling I was first on the waitlist. Today ‘March of 2023!!” I called and I was told somehow I’m now 13th . Seems really unethical to be how their story keeps changing. I would not recommend even trying here as you won’t get taken off an imaginary and mismanaged wait list until your kid is in elementary school. They put me in a an awful position by lying to me about the length of wait time to get in. Had they told me from the beginning I could have planned better.
