El Pescadito Child Care is one of the most important experiences I was blessed to have in my life. Being one of her first kids when she first opened was a meaningful childhood. I am now an adult and can say I was able to experience new adventures with her. She goes above and beyond for the little ones as if they were really her own. Never did I ever feel unwelcome. I am grateful for her and very happy to see her prosper and fulfill her dreams! Thank you for an amazing experience Miriam! And more than anything thank you for helping me build my Spanish language.

As a child, I was fortunate to attend El Pescadito when it first opened. Watching how much it has grown since then is truly incredible. What makes it so special is Miriam, the founder and instructor—whose heart and dedication shape the experience for every child who walks through the door. This is a daycare that does more than just care for your kids, it builds meaningful connections and helps guide their development—El Pescadito is the place to be. And let’s be honest, who wouldn’t want their kids learning a second language with such ease from a young age? Bring your little ones to El Pescadito!

El Pescadito is an absolute gem! From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted by a bright, cheerful space that instantly feels warm and welcoming. The openness and natural light make it such a joyful environment for kids to learn and grow. But what truly makes this place special are the teachers (especially Ms. Miriam!) who are incredibly loving, attentive, and deeply committed to each child’s development. The language immersion aspect is such a unique bonus, especially being in South Bend. It’s amazing to see young children absorbing a second language so naturally through play and everyday routines. Honestly this is the kind of daycare I wish I could have gone to when I was a kid!
