Horrible leadership, some classes have good teachers. They found out we looked at another daycare and then kicked out one of my children. Director Kim Stone is heartless. While kicking him out stated “we know you’re going to that other daycare anyway.” Made several other snide comments to us in passing. She also made several rude and inappropriate comments to my son. Place is complete chaos during lunch. I would recommend visiting randomly before sending your children. Make this place your last resort.
Chad UlmerJun 10, 2024Hello,I am a grand parent of a 4 year old that goes there currently.I would like everyone to know that this so called "director lady" that is in charge of this preschool program that put her hand over and squeezed my grand daughters mouth because she was singing..This Will Not Be Acceptable!!!! How Dare You !!!
Joshua NewsomeApr 4, 2024My daughter was in the infant room for a few months while we waited for an opening at another daycare. It worked in a pinch, but they aren’t under effective management from the director and the church. Several times we would drop her off or pick her up and they were outside their posted staff to child ratios, they often combine children in different age groups inappropriately, and when issues come up no one wants to accept responsibility. There were regularly 5 or 6 infants to 1 staff member or the infants were in the same room as toddlers or preschoolers and were on the floor where older kids were running and playing. We forgot to send lunch one day with my daughter and no one notified us that she didn’t have food until pickup at nearly 5pm. When we tried to address this, the director (who was watching the room at the time) simply said that it wasn’t up to her to notify us because it wasn’t her room and made excuses that it was hard to get ahold of me at work. When escalating this problem to the pastor of the church, it took weeks to get any kind of acknowledgement that there was an issue and left the impression that he did not look into the issues I had tried to address and was taking the director at her word that it essentially was our fault. In my opinion, this daycare works in a pinch if you’re desperate for childcare but only as a last resort.
