Grace Pointe Child Development Ministries

Let me start by saying my daughters first year here, was excellent. Ms Sierra was outstanding! That being said, my daughters last year there being apart of the preschool program was 100% horrifying. We were completely let down by the school as a whole. There were several accounts where my daughter was hurt and I was never notified until she told me. My husband and I had to request a classroom transfer due to us always walking into Ms Wendy yelling at the kids loudly to be quiet when she couldn’t multitask. Once I asked for the transfer, it was granted. However, when I would ask if there was going to be a conversation about the behavior not only we were witnessing, but SEVERAL other parents saw too, I was told that Ms Wendy is just ‘set in her ways’ being ex-military. They even tried to turn the whole situation on my child by saying that she was being very disrespectful but no one had ever brought it to my attention. When I asked why I wasn’t notified, I never got a response. (Making me believe that she was never actually being disrespectful) There are so many other things but just do yourself a favor and don’t put your children here without checking to see if they will be under Ms Wendy’s care. Honestly, she DOES NOT need to be “teaching” young children. (I use the word teaching lightly) all she really does is scream at them to do their work all while she sits at her desk on her phone. Each time I brought something up, it was swept right under the rug and so far the only change was the director at the time had decided to step down. Good Luck.

Our son has attend GPCD since he was 6 months old, he will turn 4 soon! The team at Grace Pointe has been our extended "village" as we don't have the typical family village nearby. We know our son is truly cared for when he is under their care. We HIGHLY recommend Grace Pointe Child Development. We are leaving Indiana, otherwise we would keep our son there as long as possible! Excellent staff who love what they do. My child loves going to see her friends and play and learn.
