Greater Love Childcare Development

I will forever love this daycare Mrs. Keisha was the best! She genuinely cares for the kids. Anything that needed to be taken care of she did just that. My boy been going here since he was 2 years old. He is now 5 and started kindergarten this years !!! I’m so sad to have to go , definitely didn’t want to but I had to make some new adjustments for my kids and I that works best for us in our day to day schedule. My kids said they’re definitely going to miss their teachers and Mr. Daniel even though he strict lol but I’m so grateful for Greater Love for the love and care they’ve shown for my children. Thank you to everyone of you !!

My kids been at this daycare since they were babies my kids are now 8 & 9 . So that should tell you something I really love this daycare and so do my kids. I love that they actually teach the kids I’ve seen so much progress and growth in my children. If you’re looking for a daycare that treats you like family this is the one.

This facility does push hard in education which is great. However my son went to this day care for 3 years and only went on one field trip. All those cars and businesses I'm wondering where’s the money for the kids? New windows is great but what about stuff for the kids? The staff struggle with communication everything is “IDK” or they have to call the owner first. Spend all day with your kid and they don’t know nothing. They have cameras and still don’t have an answer for things. If you have a grievance. You’re not taking seriously. The staff made my son hold his poop. Telling him to poop at home which resulted in him having frequent accidents even after being potty trained. They are closed more often than a bank. The Day care owner had a lot to say about me. I’m not sure why she made thing’s personal. But ppl act unprofessional and hide behind a business when you return the same energy. Nor do I mix business with pleasure. But from what I can see. The staff and parents hangout and are social media together. I wasn’t trying to be a part of that. But since the owner thinks she knows everybody that’s probably why she doesn’t do proper background checks on her staff. Which is also a constant violation for this daycare. You can also check the CCDF website. Like she said I never get my way. If you pay day care fees out of pocket. The tax amount she comes up with doesn’t match my digital receipts even after I deducted the late fees. The my receipt total and her total didn’t match. If you know the owner personally don’t tell her your business. I sat on a bus with her for two hours. On the way to that one field trip. She talked about the staff, the kids, and the parents. I know things that I shouldn’t. So that tells me even the ppl she is coo with she moves weird with them too. If she talked about everyone and told me their personal business or struggles. I know for a fact when I confronted her about her mouth I wasn’t wrong. My son had a birthday party at the day care. I bought a big box of chips for his class room. I get to the school. Why did the staff make these kids share a tiny bag of chips. The chips that used to be 3/$1. I bought enough for everybody to have they own tiny bag of chips. So why short my baby and his classmates? I stayed thinking it will be an issue no matter where I go. So I stuck it out as long as I could. In 3 years I was late picking my son up one time. They closed at 6 I came at 6:03. This lady wanted me to cash app her a $60 late fee. When they have sings up in the lobby saying a late fee is only $35. When I asked for a receipt they was like “never mind.” The owner walks around the day care bragging about everything but tryna squeeze $60 dollars out of me? On my first time ever being late? Why are we penny pinching and acting so money hungry? But the kids have nothing. They can say whatever about me. But why be money hungry and not spend more on those kids? Nothing for the holidays? No field trips? And if you bring party favors they still be skimpy acting. The Owner lied too me and said she taking the whole daycare to Disney on ice. I started asking in December so when February rolls around I asked again. She kept saying yes. I bought my son front row tickets to the last show they were having. Because I was waiting on the field trip that clearly was never going to happen. It’s not about the money. But I wanted to go with the group had they actually gone. But why keep lying about it? It’s not like they go anywhere anyway. Also Ms. Shiraka is lazy. Why is a staff member handing a 8 month old baby to my son? Im signing him in and my son doesn’t even have his coat off. Before a staff member is handing him a tiny baby? Does my son work their or does she? Let a child get hurt while my son playing baby sitter that’s a whole lawsuit. That’s a big issue. Kids being a HELPER is different than making kids do your job for you. My son had no business holding or watching no infant.

If you’re looking for a great childcare environment for your children-look no further. The staff is kind, courteous and trustworthy. The way they interact with the children is amazing. The owner treats every child that comes through that door as if they were her very own. She is loving and welcoming and the children love her. This is a great establishment and it makes me feel good to know that all the children are taken great care of. Please keep up the great work!!!

My son loves it!!! They actually take time with the kids as well as teach them. I see a big improvement in my son since he’s been going.
