Hilltop as a whole is a gift to the community. Two of my children attend daycare here and the staff from the front door to the CEO are all exceptional. My girls are excited to go to “school” every single day, they learn so much, and feel so loved by their teachers. They get such well-rounded care fostering their intellectual and emotional development. The Hilltop Neighborhood organization overall makes such a positive impact to the Porter County community. Every employee feels dedicated to their mission to serve the community as a whole. My family is beyond blessed to have found them.
Mia JohnsonDec 12, 2024We love Hilltop! Our oldest son started in toddler 1 last summer and has since moved to toddler 2. Our youngest started in infants this past winter and has since moved to toddler 1. The waitlist can be long depending on age so get on it right away because Hilltop is where you want to be! They have a great staff of kind, caring, and compassionate individuals. They are consistently looking out for you, your kids, others, and the community. In the year that we’ve been at Hilltop I’ve seen them continue to make changes and update to grow and improve more and more. Cannot recommend them enough. We are so glad we ended up at Hilltop!

After having my son on a waiting list for over a year, once we were actually reached out to about an open spot and scheduling an appointment to get paperwork started, we were turned away because my son has autism. Discrimination at its finest. This should have been made known FROM THE JUMP! And setting up an appointment after knowing this information then calling back to cancel is crazy.

The staff genuinely care about the children and provide a nurturing environment. Every day, we are surprised with the new things he's learned. It's clear that the curriculum is both engaging and educational. Hilltop Neighborhood House goes above and beyond with activities like water days, horticulture lessons, ice cream events, and even bringing in outside vendors like a children’s education zoo. Their dedication to creating a fun, enriching experience for the kids is truly commendable. If you're looking for a daycare where your child will be cared for with kindness and have plenty of opportunities to learn and grow, I highly recommend Hilltop Neighborhood House!
Danielle BaileyAug 2, 2024All three of my kiddos came to hilltop at all different ages. My daughter is reading at a second grade level in kindergarten. My son is beyond ready for kindergarten this year and my infant was well loved and taken care of. Hilltop is like family and they follow strict rules and guidelines to ensure the safety and developmental flourishing of children at any age.
