Kiddie Academy of Crown Point

We love Kiddie Academy of Crown Point! My daughter has been apart of the program since she was 6 weeks old, and has learned so much! The facility is clean, love looking at her reports at the end of the day, being able to check in at anytime with the cameras, and her teachers are amazing and you can see how much they care for all of their children! The administrators are passionate about their jobs and love how I can address them if I have any concerns.

I don't normally review services. I this case, I wanted to overlook the ineptness of their service. I watched my boy tracing only his first and last names for months. Me and my wife decided to keep him at this facility just for social interaction with other kids. We were preparing him for kindergarten. Because his birthday month his August, he will have to go through assessment to be accepted into Kindergarten program. We have to prepare him by ourselves in everything from reading to arithmetics. This is not our first rodeo. When our little girl was in pre-K class at a different facility, she will come home with reading, writing, shapes, matching, coloring, drawing.., assignment, preparing them for Kindergarten. The horrible service we received from here made us appreciate Williams Christian daycare more. I would have let this bad curriculum slip, but they did the worst when they charged us extra week of service we did not receive. They claim we did not give them 2 weeks notice which I did but their email bounced 3 times before it finally delivered. I even faxed it to them when I was not sure if the email was delivered. I pay out of pocket, am not relying on government help because I can afford it, but I hate extortion. This does looks like it. They said, "their email that bounced back is my problem and my fault." I am a trained teacher and I know what an excellent teaching looks like. They probably have standardized curriculum given to them by the state, but do not know how to execute it. The $296 they took from my card probably enrich their pocket, but it shows that their service is all about money and not excellence based. When we evaluated their service, we decided it does not worth wasting our money for our kids to attend their summer classes. If their is zero ⭐, that's what I would have given. The only thing they owe me now will be my tax document come next year. We will not be returning to their facility and not anyone that I know for sure.

We have been extremely happy with Kiddie Academy. I love the structure in his classroom, it is obvious to us that our son’s teachers care about his development. We appreciate the end of day updates on what they ate, diaper changes, activities as well as the daily photos. Kiddie Academy also incorporates activities like the splash pad, Kona Ice, spirit week, events for mothers and fathers day, etc. Our son loves to be outdoors so the fact that they get to play on the playground is a huge plus. Front desk staff is really great, they are always so helpful and nice. It's a 10 for us!

Clean, friendly. Very helpful staff. I love the fact they have cameras, so I can check in on my son since this is his 1st time in daycare, and he's 3. They have learning time, craft time, play time. Outside play area when the weather is nice. Convenient location for me. They worked with me when it came down to food issues my son was having. They go above and beyond. Would highly recommend.

I absolutely love Kiddie Academy. The facility is clean. Everyone is always friendly. My sons teachers are awesome and so in tune with his personality. There is a daily schedule so the kids get an equal amount of play and rest. Everyone is very involved and truly cares—and it shows. I love the camera option so i Can check in whenever i feel the need. Would recommend over and over again.
