  • My son has been attending MTCC for the past 5 years. For the first 3 years of his life, he was part of a Continuity of Care group where the children and staff in his group stayed together the whole time allowing him to build strong bonds with his teachers and friends. The quality of care he receives is exceptional. At Kindergarten enrollment pre-test the kindergarten teachers were pleased with the readiness my child showed. He has learned how to make friends in many situations at school and at community events. He can read short stories and uses his creativity to create amazing projects based on his interests. Just this last week the children made their own Lego movies including backdrops and various sets they built. The staff have been welcoming and caring. They show through the stories they share with me that they know my child. The staff have showed a continued commitment to increased quality by attaining Level 3 on Paths to Quality, working toward their NAEYC Accreditation (They are currently awaiting a candidacy visit.), and are working with 4C of Southern Indiana on the CLIMBS project. In my experience the staff and director have been very welcoming and have an open door policy. The staff has a very low turn over rate compared to many other centers with many staff members having been at the center for over 10 years.
