MSD of Steuben County Early Learning Center

I could not recommend the ELC more. My children love to go there. All of the teachers know each of the children and greet them as they enter the doors even if they aren’t in their class. The other day my oldest started singing his continents and I kid you not I almost fell on the floor. I would say often I am impressed with the knowledge they come home with. A lot of times I will ask my kiddos what their favorite part of their day was and often I get the response that their teachers played with them or taught them something new. The teachers are so understanding and take teaching these littles so seriously. They update often. The teachers are so nurturing. Also the director, Jami, I cannot rave more about her. She truly listens and takes concerns seriously. I have never felt like anything I said has been swept under the rug or has not been thoroughly listened to. Jami will check in and offer in any way to accommodate. One of my sons is allergic to bandaids. The class was doing an activity and Jami remembered and ran out to ensure there were gloves that my son could have. My son came home and literally said Ms. Jami remembered and made it where I could do it too! It’s nice knowing my children are in a safe place where I know people care about them. Jami is prompt about updating about the schedules, any incidences that effect the school, and any illness that could be going around. We’re so proud to be at ELC. My children could not love it more. It rests our minds and hearts to know they are so happy to be there!! ❤️

We have had the most wonderful experience with the ELC. The teachers are the best of the best, the lessons are in depth and keep the kiddos interested. We LOVE Miss Jami and couldn’t appreciate what she does for the kids and staff more. This school was the best choice we could’ve made.

ELC is such a welcoming and amazing environment for our daughter! She loves going to school everyday where she has excelled in not only academics, but in her daily living skills. We also love the opportunities that they offer for their summer program. Without a doubt the best in the county!

The ELC is the best preschool around! If you want more than just setting in a classroom all day this is the place to send your children! All of the staff are great with the kids and my child really enjoys going to “school” everyday! Not only is she actually learning but she gets to do most of it outside like a child should!

My daughter has been at the ELC for a full year now and I am so impressed with the education she is getting and independence she is gaining from the Montessori educational foundation. The staff all know her name and she is excited to see all of them every morning. Her teacher sees her potential to learn and grow and challenges her appropriately to try hard lessons and stick with them. As a full time working mom I really appreciate the flexibility the before and aftercare programs allow me to make the program fit my schedule. I honestly can’t say enough positive things about the Early Learning Center!
