Renee Shepherd!Apr 27, 2021Beautiful sanctuary and the congregation was very nice and welcoming. Dr. Arnetta was a wonderful speaker.
Betsy PearsonOct 7, 2020This is one of the most compassionate, loving churches possible. I noted a review of someone who showed up cold in the middle of the night and was refused help. Of course, I know nothing more than what was posted. My questions would be: why would someone come to a church in the middle of the night and expect an open door? I doubt that anyone was there! Second, if there WAS anyone there, they would be a custodian and would be naturally cautious and without authority to unlock the church. I am sorry that the gentleman was wandering residential streets cold in the middle of the night. It seems unreasonable, however, to expect open doors. A business street would afford more likely prospects of an open door. For example, Deluxe Donuts is five blocks away and open all night. Was he from out of town and did not know the area? Why was he wandering? How on earth did he end up in that spot at that time? Had this gentleman come during the day he would have received help and comfort and guidance from the kindest and most generous community of people he could want. They have a whole Community Center with food bank, and I expect someone could have rustled up a warmer coat. My point is that this is not the kind of situation that a church should be judged by. That's not a fair evaluation.
