I spoke with Ms.Margene today for about 15 minutes to discuss a few things that was concerning to us. My granddaughter has been going there for a little over a month now and she has been telling my daughter that her teacher is mean. She had several different people of the family ask her about her teacher and she kept saying that she was mean. There were three time where my daughter reached out to Ms.Margene to get some clarity. During the meet she stated that my daughter only reached out to her on one occasion which that was incorrect. My daughter showed me text to confirm, she had reached out to her on three separate occasions. I feel the best solution in that situation is where there should have been a meeting scheduled with the teacher the director and my daughter and her husband. That way, everyone would have been on the same page. The last draw was when my granddaughter came home and says she had i've gotten a spanking, so my daughter took her out ASAP. I feel she did a very poor job with handling this situation. Ms.Margene don't ask if they would be willing to sit down and talk about the situation. All she did was tell my daughter that will be a invoice for not giving them a two week notice. With so many things going on with child care, you always want to error on the side of caution. Always ask your children's questions and don't just brush it off!!!
Rondell simsAug 27, 2025Absolutely love the staff at Sprouts! They have loved, taught, and taken great care of my child for almost 3 years and my newest soon. Teaching and Bible curriculum is terrific (coming from an educator :). We appreciate this ministry so much!
Jenny FainAug 5, 2025Our granddaughter has been going to Sprouts for almost 3 years. The daycare she was in before this one was not conducive to learning and We knew We had to find somewhere that had a curriculum that would prepare her for kindergarten. We found it here. She leaves next year for kindergarten but Sprouts has done it’s job well. We are glad we found Sprouts because they utilize both care and compassion in their interactions and teaching of the children entrusted into their care.
Betty GradyNov 17, 2020We went to several daycares in Indy and were placed on a waitlist for Sprouts. Well worth the wait! Our daughter is 19 months and knows more sign language than me, is identifying colors, and absolutely loved going there everyday. Safe, homely, and most importantly the staff shows concern. Only reason we had to leave was due to a job promotion out of state. Can not beat the price and the level of engagement and interaction is the best. If you want a safe place, where your child will learn, and be nurtured for growth then I would highly recommend going here. You will be placed on a waitlist for a reason, its amazing!
Robert MayNov 24, 2019My son loves going to daycare here! It’s a small close knit place that really loves the kids. Glad I chose to send my son here :)
Jessica BrennAug 28, 2019This place is not as good as the reviews. My child was there for 1 month and they did not tell me they were not feeding him and the teacher never told me there was an issue. After 1 month, knowing my husband was deployed and I needed a daycare, they gave me a 2 weeks notice because “he wouldn’t take naps, he bit a crayon, and he ripped a child’s paper”. They claimed this was overwhelming the teacher. Although those are minor issues, they were never reported to me when the “incidents” happened and those are poor excuses to say they no longer want a child there.
