My husband and I had a bad experience with our daughters previous daycare and needed to find an alternative place. We were hesitant searching again but heard good things about Walnut Hill, so we had to see for ourselves. I reached out via email and Rachel was so informative and answered all my questions quickly and professionally. To our surprise and luck they had an opening and we set up a tour within the same week. Just by walking in we already had a much better feeling about this place. Its secure, clean, each room has its own fenced in play area, and they have a gross motor room for kids to do activities in. The teachers are great, communication is fantastic, and we love that they have a curriculum for each age group. They also have a music class each week and if needed they offer assistance for speech. Our daughter has grown and learned so much since starting here!
Morgan ShieldsMar 11, 2026I live in the apartments right by this learning center. If your child goes here I wouldn’t doubt they get sick pretty often. They have all the kids out EVERY morning at 7:30-8:00AM no matter the weather for their first recess. Recently, we have been on frost warnings and when I look out kids are out with no coats. Aside from this learning center having about five recesses a day, they also have their lawn care team out on the weekends at about 7:30 am. Talk about a wake up call! I have shared my concerns with the facility in hopes to find a middle ground, sadly the very professional gentleman I spoke too’s response for me was to call the cops on them…. I assure you I did not do that. In total, I have lived in this complex for close to two years and have had a very very sour experience with this facility and how it operates outside of having a child in their care.
samOct 19, 2024My daughter absolutely LOVES to go to "school" here. We switched from Growing Kids, where she would beg me not to leave her, and I felt that the kids were left to fend for themselves. This has been such a great change. She is really thriving here! She doesn't mind when I drop her off, she gets right to playing with the other children. It's great for both of us!
Jess BaileyNov 18, 2020My child was being physically abused at their day care and they would not do anything about it. My child would come home with very large bruises and cuts and complain about being hit and even choked by another child. This was brought to the attention of the teachers and the directors and no one cared to do anything. No one should have to feel that their child is unsafe when leaving them at a daycare. I do not recommend this business to anyone. I hope they fix their very broken system of how to deal with violence/negligence. Edit 5/26/21 after owner response: I do not have my full name displayed on this platform by personal choice. But my situation was very real and I have proof. I was dismissed over and over when I brought this to the teachers and director’s attention. The fact that you took 8 months to respond to my review speaks volumes.
