Welcome Place Child Care

We have had an amazing experience with Welcome Place! Our daughter has been enrolled here since September 2024, after leaving a different daycare. The teachers are so loving and go above and beyond with their teaching. They also provide a variety of snacks and lunches for the kids. Our daughter is in speech therapy and is on the spectrum, and they have been very accommodating with her sensory needs. Her teachers do an amazing job at helping her feel safe and she looks forward to going to school every day! I highly recommend this childcare facility!

The communication is excellent, the facility is clean, and it's clear that the staff genuinely loves working with children. From day one, we felt welcomed and confident leaving our child here. Our children have been attending the Welcome place for over 3 years with our oldest getting ready to start kindergarten and our youngest started as an infant. One our kids favorite things is the huge playground and the gym so they have a ton of space to play year round which is especially helpful in the winter. The teachers are also great and really care about the kids as well as keep us informed throughout the day with updates and pictures. We really appreciate everything the team does to help keep things affordable as well.

Welcome Place has been such a blessing for our family. Our son attended for preschool, and our daughter has been there since she was an infant. All of the teachers and staff have been absolutely wonderful - kind, attentive, professional, and caring. Communication has been great. We have had no issues. I have recommended them to several friends. I’m so thankful for the peace of mind knowing our kids are in good hands!

The Welcome Place has been an enormous gift to our family and provided reliable, loving, and structured support. Our three children have been regular attendees since 2023, two from very early ages, and have grown physically, emotionally, socially, and spiritually throughout their time. We are very grateful for the ways our kids have grown academically, but it’s the spiritual investment into our kids’ faith and emotional health that have been most encouraging. The directors are solid, Christian women who lead with integrity and the Southport Presbyterian Church community is incredibly generous and welcoming. Logistically, the brightwheel app has provided streamlined communication between us and our kids’ teachers. Our family highly recommends their services for your childcare needs.
